By using the comment filter..
custom analysis ->trade
then in the comment field Include " main trade" .

I just looked at the different main an multi trades to see which one is more profitable.
Turns out, multi trade is, So I would like to have a bigger lot size on the multi than on the main trade.
Opposite like it is now.. In zp thread was some discussion about this.
Do'nt know if it is already coded. I also wanted to run some more experiments with this system.


What I wanted to show is attached picture..
I also attached a picture how I created it. Only a simple filter on opening times.

In reality the results will differ.. But it's worth the try to limit the trade hours.
This GP9 system works.. Also zennors approach.

But my thougts are a bit different.
The basket manager approach works. i think the strength is that the winners compensate the losers.
And close the losing trades quickly.
But it also cut's the winners short. In other accounts can be seen a 400 TP could be achievable.
Ultimatly I am looking for a sollution to cut the loses quickly.
(or dont enter them)
And Jump stop the winners.
Jose Mentioned in another topic that WITEA closely resembles the shelly trading friend.
This is thinking out loud: So maybe a simple MA can be of help.

Results are already great, but if we can get it to 3% a day it will make us rich faster :!!:

AGT:s GP9 account is currently in a 10% drawdown. And the potential risk is pretty high if the shit hits the fan and the open trades decides to stop out at ATR x3 which is the stoploss if I don't remember wrong.

You're right.. Things can change quickly in forex.
This still gives another interesting picture..
If I only had more time and power for a custommod. :clap:

Hi peeps ! :hi:

Trader "lincc0406" requested" the settings for the GP14. May be this topic is of some interest for others too.
I added an "All stuff you need" folder here. All the stuff included is right now directly copied from the platform GP 14.
But you to consider: this is my longest test with bots of the PP-family. Its running now 6 months or so. During that time the platform was trading with various mods and settings of PP/PPoS-EAs ! All these changes I made using the improved versions of this bot never brought the account into deep DD's ! And that's a good result showing the reliability of the strategy/method/coding.
To be honest - I never changed the main parameters really seriously, they are all the time similar to these, xfactorno released in the early stage of development of this EA at the end of 2014.

Hi ALS,

Do you impose a limit where you close all open trades, or just let it run indefinitely? The reason I ask is that I have my basket manager set to close all open trades at 5% drawdown (had a closure yesterday). I'm not convinced this approach is working though, as I haven't been able to achieve satisfactory results with ZP to date.

The settings i'm using (AGT's except $20 TP) closes bad trades at 3xATR other than that no basket SL I'm thinking this may not be the best approach though, with each bad main trade taking around 12% profit this could quickly wipe out the account :shock:

EDIT: Previous 2 weeks of Gains were wiped today and after analyzing the DD in both mine & AGTs account ive added a 6% basket SL

Baschs account with 4% TP & 6% SL has hit SL many times but i think if we have the 2% TP we should be more successful.

Onwards and upwards. :roll:

my first post on this forum has to be a very BIG THANK YOU for all work and generosity made available at this amazing website. In fact I don't have correct words for it...

A question for AGT: do you interfere manually with your trading, or are the results on the MyFXBook GP14 account established with 100% automated trading?
