This is the Daily Stoch 7,2,2 tape (80/20 levels) applied to 4H TF. I had never seen a non repainting indi showing so perfectly where a retracement ends and a new impulse re-starts.

(The 4h Stoch applied to 1H is also awsome.).

zentauro, has your MTF stoch the "true" or "ignoreFuture" function? did you test it in forward?
I don´t know stochs having this funtion. I have not tested it yet. Too good to be true, I fear. This is the stoch-tape:
Stoch-Tape.mq4
Just change the Kperiod to 7, the Stoch slowing to 2, the MAmethod to 3, and the Pricefield to 1.

I muted the silver color.

(Note : This is not related to Edsel. This is Bob's history).
All those martingale EAs will work until the death trade. They make good money and have great results until the death trade. I tried everything I knew to filter out the death trade and found out there is no way except to know it is happening and to manually close the trade. Any martingale EA will work and you will make money if you know when to close out the death trade. If you ever solve that problem I would love to use those things but we even had one that went 14 levels using 1.25 increase per level and still hit the death trade. So what can I say. The good ole days.

Post subject:  Re: 10.6 EDSEL PDF

Bob:
At the bottom of page 19 on the 10.6 Edsel PDF under definition 1 the second line reads "If the price is between the 60 MA and the 240 MA and is above the 240 MA is will be Olive color."

Since it is impossible for the price to be both between and above the 240 MA I am assuming it should read: "If price is between the 60 MA and the 240 MA and price is above the 60 MA it will be Olive color."

Anybody reading the PDF will figure this out but it might as well be stated correctly.

THIS WHOLE SYSTEM IS ONE GREAT PIECE OF WORK. I have been more profitable (pips) in the last two weeks trading your system on demo than during any other period in my 5 years of trading forex.
THANKS AGAIN BOB.

It is correct if price action is between the 60 and 240 and price is above the 240 meaning price is above the 240 but below the 60 it will be olive. If it is below the 240 and above the 60 or inbetween the 60 and 240 but below the 240 it will be goldenrod color.

Economic news for the NZD was unexpectedly good today so be careful trying to sell it. It wouldnt surprise me to see the NZD reverse back into range or even positive territory. If you are selling it you may consider closing out your trades.

“Dairy export prices helped lift the terms of trade to their highest level since 1973," prices manager Chris Pike said. "Both the terms of trade and export prices have been on the rise since the start of this year, reflecting higher dairy prices.”

This topic has been discussed many times in the past. You must be careful when doing back testing with MTF indicators, because the information has been "recalculated" and does not correspond to the reality of what happened.
I leave a link to an old post of zznbrm who has been a pioneer in the creation of “true” MTF indi codes and also has been an inspiration even Paul and Neotrader in their newest releases of this generation of indicators. zz explain this issue.
Therefore, you have reason to say that it is too good to be true.

I am watching padnoters dashboard along with 10.6. I have rigged up a simple alert to notify me when the red and green diamonds appear on the dashboard. The green is working, waiting for the red and then I will post the template I am using. Basically the idea is to scan the 24 or so permutations of the various majors pairs. If I see two green bars, I will place a trade to go long at next whole or half number. I have noticed that pair correlations is significant here.

Okie dokie, I have screwed up the code. I am not a coder, not even in the most basic sense. If someone could show me what I did wrong, I can start posting some trades on a regular basis.

This is what I tried to write...

double Time1;
Time1 = Time[0];
static datetime tLastAlert = 0;

if ( trend!=0 && tLastAlert < Time1 && closeprice<h1ma15 && closeprice>h1ma60 && closeprice>h4ma60/*=h1ma240*/){ Alert("Long Setup" + Symbol()); tLastAlert = Time1;}
else if
(trend!=0 && tLastAlert < Time1 && closeprice>h1ma15 && closeprice<h1ma60 && closeprice<h4ma60/*=h1ma240*/){ Alert("Short Setup" + Symbol()); tLastAlert = Time1;}
