The "sustained movements in one direction" kill us once more :/ Have noticed a 'glitch' in what the indi is doing -vs- what it's displaying, hence our exposure at this time. Will be back with an update Cheers |

If i look on multitrade 1.1 than maybe use 15 stop lost it will be work or maybe keep 30 pip stop lost and hedge position after 15 pips. In myfxbook it looks that it can work but we must look on Empty4 data if it true. Go trade by trade and look on high and low. yes and i open armada demo with verion 1.2 |

Sorry for late answers...dudest,I don't have MyFXB....TT,yes it's OOTB...It's a multitrader,so I just use the pairs that the EA "gives" me.... |

dudest - we may have a problem...... In build 584 (the latest) the tma-cg indi doesn't work as it complains that in is trying to execute a recursive function. Which, from what I can tell, involves either the "repainting" element of the indi or the fact that I was using it on M5 charts with an M15 timeframe (so the mtf element). No idea what Metaquotes are playing at but it is looking worse and worse. Best to ensure we stick with Global Prime as they are resisting the upgrade. I am not sure how long they will be able to do so for though as I am sure they will come under some pressure and no doubt with some nasty underhand tactics.... Cheers, Dave. |

Ok peeps, after alot of soul-searching ( & code-searching ) over the weekend, like the boy in the Alchemist we are back to where the dream was conceptualized, only now with a wider mind and deeper insight. --> Ver G ( "Greta" ): Notes: # We will not aim for maximum profit at all times and no mistakes. Life is messy, so is trading (!). Reality is the indi repaints, but in the absence of something better to act as our 'eyes' to view support/resistance, it'll have to do. The profit we make when price is ranging our way will cover for the losses we take when price breaks out and stays above/below the bands. At the end of the day, we only need to win more DOLLARS than we lose. # To keep it simple and minimize losses: we will only take one trade per direction. That is: in order to take a short, the previous trade MUST have been a long, and vice-versa. Trade opening and TP are at the outer boundaries [ initial hard TP applied, then adjusted every 15mins according to the bands. ] # Single stack trade when first trade is moved to BreakEven has proved to be profitable in the long run. This has been preserved. --- Wish you all +ve wins-over-losses! Cheers |
