Using the CSSDiff also gives you a head start for change in direction of trend. ;)

Today pre NY also had some great moves. I took pairs with readings of SlopeValues +.9 and -.9 and above ones. Set Shelly with ATR25 TP, all closed ahead of momentum.

The slope Values shows a lot of -1.00 and below SELL pairs. Will wait for Monday's again for another round of basket trade. Jem's rules still applies. ;)

Bob mentioned, readings

over 0.4 to enter trade,
over 0.8 to enter and hold trade,

how about 1.0 and above? Also enter and hold? :lol:

I was blind, but now I see! Thanks to Bob, Steve, Jem, T101, GCV and Brijon. I have finally completed my Forex puzzle (2+ years), and how clear the picture looks. On demo today. Got in late, added to some positions, and wanted to see NFP release on Basket.

The CSSDiff gives almost the same Information as the TMA slope most of the time...if you don't believe me feel free to see it yourself in the last version of my indicator NT TMA-CSS-SP. You can view both slopes at once and you will see that they are almost in sync the whole time.

This is what Jem called the CounterTrend idea. Need to observe the good moment to entering such trade. Someone took this idea on NFP yesterday would have a very good catch. :)

Thanks NT - I tried both indis. I like the visuals from the CSSDIff. Cross 0, trend possible change, >.4 Long entry, >0.8 enter and hold, >1.0 enter and hold again. When indi drop to previous high, prepare to exit/TP. ;)

When did u fired your basket? Pre LO, pre NY? And is it a counter trade?

With my new TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF Indicator you can get the same view/visual as with CSSDiff.
Just select only one TF you want to see and set showHisto to true. You also can select the Level freely...just try it out...it also uses much less resources since it is only the TMA and not the CSS with its calculation overhead.

just a thought... ;)
