I'm glad I'm just learning this on demo, or I'd be pretty annoyed at how I handled it. :oops: My USDJPY short was the one good winner I had, and I didn't listen carefully enough to Bob's JPY news. Kaboom, there went my USDJPY profit. So far in the past week I'm down about 250 pips, nothing like the bonanza some of you guys are picking up. But it's early days. Hopefully I'll get the hang of this so I can trade it when it goes back to boring old crank-out-the-pips mode.

Obviously Bob is much better at finding entries than I am. I'm not finding the dozens of trades he's taking. So far I'm just taking the basic RSI setups, modified a bit with CSS direction.

Yep, stick with it. I doubt there are many here getting as many trades as Bob, certainly not me. I just take the basic setups as well. :lol:

I am nicely in profit, though.

This is insane, I have never had over 1000 pips like this. Kinda like stealing. Im out and gonna let NFP do its thing without me.

Hi don`t worry about it, today's move was not about 10.4. And re Bob`s trading, he is the man, just to get to close to his results is big achievement.I felt like you this Tuesday when GBP went down.
The hardest thing I find on 10.4 is to believe in 240.I am so nervous as soon as I have a DD and price is heading towards it. Just believe in the positive outcome of this great system and practice, that`s what I am trying to do.

This is where 10.5 comes in. It will reset the daily pivots on the 1H chart and you can trade it. Watch for price to come back or go below the Daily pivot and then set your pending orders. Price is going to be going outside the S1R1 and that is strange territory for most traders.

(my 1 pip story)i started trading based on fundys w an econo degree and realised news lagged so ditched that and went full technicals. i've come back one full circle to appreciate that its not so much what the news is. but that for big moves there still must be a headline tagged to it.

i think if not for NFP tomorrow i wouldn't be so peeled to look for more profit. this ain't Bitcoin. LOL
(and the fact the Yen's balance sheet will increase by 70T by year end. previously market had thought only 2014. but news repealed it blablabla)

actually i use alot of your work in the DP DO. :) this morning(asia,singapore) when i saw on GMT+0(why i love GMT+0) the yen pairs had opened above it. i had a sick feeling about all my Yen gloom(shorting the Yen pairs). that worried me lots. to see it stuck there above that DO.

Big day. I was short in all JPY crosses, even Euro and Usd in spite of 240ma, but... just 1 level :evil:

I'm angry with myself for not having practiced multilevel trading before. All for fkng laziness. I do manual trading, just with to easy scripts for pendings, but after this painful learning experience (go multilevel!) i´ll try some management EA. Any recommendations for an easy 3 levels set and forget EA?

Bob, you did it! 1000 pips? The sky is the limit! :lol:

At the moment I am using round number levels as a reference.

closed my position last night for around 130 pips when i saw some pullback. i wanted to make sure i locked it in.. then i set stops above the candle's high for eurjpy and usdjpy and woke up this morning to find i was up another 200. still worried about holding positions, i've never been up so high on my positions before

Well I am looking at E/J price action touching the daily upper trendline that is around 125.60 area... If I still had some positions open that I wanted to close I would look to see if there was a failure to break this and if so close for profit. Live to fight another day... :)
