GU pending order as per 10.4 rules, H4 RSI pinned to the bottom, H1 CSS GOLD.

USDCHF pending sell as per 10.4 rules.

Not many news today, hence the market is a bit sluggish.

EURCAD pending buy, H4 RSI pinned at the bottom, H1 CSS GOLD.

NOT A GOOD TRADE AS CAD IS STRONG TODAY.

GBPJPY AND EURJPY'S RISE GOT STOPPED AT WR1 AND 240MA (CONFLUENCE), H4 RSI PINNED AT THE TOP.

WAITING FOR A SELL IF THE PAIRS REVERSE AND EXIT R ZONE.

At the NY open, the Dow rallied because S&P changes its credit rating for the us from negative to stable.

However, the H4 RSI is overbought and there is strong resistance just above. It is no surprise it is bouncing off the R zone and consolidating.

This market does not know where it wants to go just yet, and will be trading sideways for a while. One day up, next day down.

BOJ policy meeting tomorrow asian session. This is obviously an important event for the yen, and it is not surprising to see the yen retreating from its recent strength as traders square their positions ahead of the meeting.

If nothing concrete comes out of the meeting, it would not surprise me if the yen pairs falling again.

Of the yen pairs, only GBPJPY and CADJPY have broken their recent down trend.

Of my pending orders today, only two got triggered, EU buy and GU buy, both closed with a small gain. Both are 10.4 setups using H1 CSS filter.

The retracements in the yen pairs never materialise, hence no trades. It has been a day devoid of any high impact news, so there is hardly any momentum except for the yen pairs which rose in conjunction with the 5% rise in the nikkei overnight.

I must say Gary's (gms) H1 CSS cross script worked very well today. It sends notification to my android tablet to alert me of the crosses, so I don't have to constantly check my charts when trading the 10.4.

I provided the link a few posts back

Expect the volatility in the stock market to continue this week because of emerging market bond sell-off.

The nikkei fell slightly after the BOJ released its policy statement this morning, and maintained its level above the weekly pivot.

The USDJPY stayed above 98 yen to the dollar, hovering just above the weekly pivot but still below the 240ma. If it can close above the weekly pivot at the NY close today, then it is bullish for USDJPY.

AUDJPY and NZDJPY short setups by 10.4 rules.

H4 RSI pinned to the top, price below 240ma, H1CSS red.

Nothing spectacular at the BOJ policy meeting today. So, expect business as usual, like last week.

The nikkei is trading below the daily pivot.

Rule of thumb : buy above DP and sell below.
