Hi Bob, You can use the attached indicator to display the ADR dashboard per pair. Please note that this indicator has also other functions which are still under development. I should release a version almost finished in the next hours. You will find comments and update of this indicator in the thread bellow: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=5&t=3886 Now concerning our subject, the ADR dashboard. First make sure to load historical data on your platform otherwise CrashT4 might freeze. (You can use the attached script to do it or any other script available on this forum). Then you can load the indicator on a black screen. To display the ADR dashboard you have to choose “Dashboard ADR” in the field Whichscreentodisplay and that’s it. Please note that you have also and ADR dashboard per hour. If you want to display this one, just select “ADR per hour” in the field Whichadrtodisplay. Now concerning the informations available in this dashboard. On the Dashboard per session you have: The daily ADR split between (Today ADR, Yesterday ADR, Week ADR (5), Month ADR (20). And the same thing per session (Tokyo, London and New York). In order to adjust these data to you broker time you have to modify the hour settings The ADR dashboard per hour displays the previous day ADR. Initially I wanted to have the weekly or monthly ADR per hour but I cannot get it at the moment. Cheers, G |

Probably but so far I have not been very good at analyzing Forex with elections. I got burned on the GBP and the Scottish thing. I have almost recovered from that one. |

Additional information on the ADR Dashboard. Initially I wanted to have the ADR dashboard split per session mostly to have an indication about Tokyo range. When Tokyo range is abnormally low, market might range during the rest of the day, and on the contrary when it is abnormally high market is in a strong trend, so be ready to catch the trend (also expect some reversal at some point). There is plenty of informations just by reading the ADR per session. More on this later, I am almost done with the final version of the indicator and then I will have plenty of time to work on strategies (almost 1 month of mql4 !!! enough with coding, I am just cleaning a few thing and I will share the final version). One more thing, I am considering adding an ADR per day of the week (Monday, Tuesday…) for the current week and the past one, if some of you think it could be useful I will add it to the indicator. Cheers, G |

jpy Continued down as predicted USD went up. AUD and NZD and the rest bounced around with the GBP and CAd showing some strength early in the week. I did ok playing jpy weakness, but did really well selling the GBP adb EURO after its run up early in the week. I just didnt believe they were fundamentally going up anywhere and made a nice profit as they dropped Thursday and Friday. This week I dont see much change. I think the dramatic JPY run will trickle now and the others adjusting to that change. China is about to make a major deal with Australia with a livestock deal and that should help the aud when it happens. NZD will follow the AUD so I will be looking for the news or the market move anticipating it. I cant see the euro or gbp doing any sustained upward movement but their strong downward movement at the end of the week probably will carry over for a day or two and then???? Cad is a mystery to me but it benefits when the USA economy strengthens so it may run strong this week and going into the Christmas holidays. However plummeting oil prices have to affect it also so .............. Anyway CSS read. USD CAD are strong. AUD and NZD could go strong with good news from China otherwise euro, chf, and gbp will continue to hang there in the middle with some weak strength. JPY will stay at the bottom and all the rest are above the 0 line. So have fun. I will be looking to sell the JPY after some rallies, USD and CAD runs should continue so buy the dips, The euro currencies may lower some more early in the week and then ???? AUD and NZD may rise with more good news out of China and the discussed trade deals. So looking to buy those two. |

I'm trying to incorporate this marvelous indicator with HGI, but having nooby technical difficulties. Perhaps incorrectly, I placed the indicator as a window on a chart and shoved the actual chart info all the way up to make the window the predominant part of the screen - assuming that's how you get a 'black screen'. How do I get the CSS indicator to move left so I can read the text part of the indicator, as I see it on all the screens shown in this thread. When I drag things left from the bottom of the chart it all squishes up and when I resize it to make it decipherable it jumps back to the right edge. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
