I think it would be useful to be able to trade only in one direction using UseCandleHighLowForInitial=true. This will allow entering into a trend after a retrace. Also a user-defined gap(in pips) above the High or below the Low will be a good addition.

Btw, did anyone already used limit-pendings with the HP in conjunction with buy-/sell-pendings?

In addition, limit-orders should be managed separately.

Actually, it makes no sense to use limit-orders with identical settings used together with buy-/stop-orders in the same instance.

I can place manually limit-orders to be managed by the APTM, but then without stacking functionality because of missing the appropriate magic-number, the HPEA needs to operate with stacking.

A numerical input like the buy-/stop-orders maybe could solve this request.
To make pending-limits visible, from my point of view, there is no need to manage limit-orders hidden.

Anyway I don´t know, if there are internal conflicts by the HP to manage stop- and limit-orders simultaneously with stacking feature in the same instance.

Maybe there is a script to place a buy- and/or a sell-limit-pending by default with an appropriate MN, the HPEA will recognize?
Last version by OOTB, MN = 0? @Milanese: Is that intended?

Such a script might be also helpful for initial-orders to create a corresponding magic-number the HPEA can work with.

MagicNumber=88987 this is the OOTB

if you want to use together on the same pair limit and stop orders you need two distances of the HPEA with different magicnumbers and you must deactivate in both manage all trades in this pair option..

you should only select buy, or sell price, and select DeleteOppositeAfterFill to true and set stacking like you want.

Hi Milanese,

thanks for your support and comments.

Even with an additional Empty4-instance, I´d prefer to place limit-orders numerically, like the buy-/sell-stops, instead of pip-distance to price on the top- or bottom-levels of any range, which differs bidirectional by the distances.

Hi Tommaso,

Thanks for your time and support. In the proposed update, after we are able to trade in one direction using UseCandleHighLowForInitial=true, I think the SetNewEveryNextIfNotFilled=true behavior should also change accordingly. When a new bar forms and the order is not yet filled, it should move the pending price of buy stop to previous candle High ONLY when the previous bar is DOWN. Because when it is UP, it is already moving towards the pending price. Also for sell stop, the pending price should move to previous bar Low ONLY when the previous bar is UP.

update adding a CandleHighLowBuffer set this to the pips the price must supperate the candle high/low to get the order filled
New you can select if you want only use the High or the Low or both for the useCandleHighLowForInitial
function, note this functions is only for the first EA trade valid (if there is no other trade on the symbol with the EA magicnumber open) and overrides in that case your other settings.
