Thanks ... I was really gutted when I read your post, perhaps it was the way I worded my question, I don't know. I've read the manual several times bofore, and due to paranoia I have it open again now!

I really want to contribute to testing. Not just testing for bugs and stability, but also testing various .set files. Unfortunately I'm not technical when it comes to code, but I'm certainly not stupid when it comes to testing for bugs and so I hope to be of value even in a small way.

Mind you, I'll have to pluck up some courage before posting again! :smile:

Bugger. I only made 270 pips today. What a useless EA.

Hehe. 270 pips in a day. There have been whole years when I have made less than this.

The account is now up just shy of 10% in two trading days.

Leaving that aside, here is a thingy that I am finding.

Twice I have reached the stage where I have so many trades open that my margin level is down to under 150% yet the overall position is positive. I did not realise this before, but early trades hammer the margin level, but subsequent ones increase it by successively smaller and smaller amounts (Global Prime demo, 100:1 leverage).

So, it is possible to reach the stage where we have umpteen trades open. One goes up and the other goes down and the overall upl barely moves. I was in this position a few minutes ago when I decided to close down and start again. Imagine that you have let a position with about 1500 pips profit slip as a number of us did last week, and find yourself back in the red and never likely to recover. Ouch.

Bear in mind that Bob rarely leaves profits on the table and we are trying to learn from him. It might be worthwhile employing mptm to close out trades once we have a half-decent overall upl. HGB does not go short of trades so we will not be waiting days and days for the next one to happen along.

Just thinking aloud. This stuff is new to all of us.

Latest fix still isn't working. Still sending pendings at the xxx.25 and sending duplicate initial wave trades.

I am not going to try to do anything about this tonight folks - it is 21.55 in the UK and what passes for my brain is fried.

More tomorrow. In the meantime, the bot is doing more than just hold its own even with the bugs.

Jeepers. About 20 minutes after shutting down my position, I have 3 open market trades and all their associated pendings waiting to fill.

Would you believe there are actually people wanting more action and so trading the H1? Wow.

More tomorrow guys unless someone irritates me tonight. Carry on having a ball. I will sort out the remaining bugs tomorrow.

I added Steves last version and didnt even adjust settings from a version a few days old and its still raining green - overnight - when the markets arent that busy, amazing!
