Post subject:  HGI for beginners.
Hi all

I'm getting a bit confused as to the statuses of the HGI versions. Am I correct in saying that 15.08 is latest stable version and 16.08 is beta (saw this in another post) ?

Hello, I am looking for the same script as above, at the 1st page first post at HGI forum I see the following which I already have downloaded, except HGI_lib.ex4 and I can't seem to finned it.
HGI Tmplate Zip
HGI v16.04.ex4

Thank you Bob.

I have used the script "Drag Pending Buy or Sell" and it will place one trade but not multiple. Not sure which script will place multiple pending positions.

Post subject:  Oh no! Empty4 crashed again!
I have had several recent occasions where Empty4 crashed on me and the way is does, is to suddenly close all my charts but the session is still open. Does this happen to anyone else?

Aha, I say. I was wise enough to save my charts as a profile, so all I have to do is to re-open the profile. :smile: Feeling smug.

Oh no! :o When Empty4 crashed my charts, I was in my HGI profile, therefore my empty page is automatically saved as my HGI profile, and I have to reload all the charts - the whole damned thing. :uff:

I figured a way around this. I save TWO profiles for my default, I use HGI-1 & HGI-2. That way, if the crash happens whilst on the HGI-2 profile, I just reload the session and bring up the HGI-1 profile.

As a friend says, slicker than deer guts on a door knob.

Another way is to right click on each of your profile files (.chr) then select property and tick “read only”.

My first post here, many thanks for your work!

I have one problem, I have installed the HGI but instead waves and arrows I see h and e :)

Did I miss something? :)
