HGI used with Hurst charts
I thought it might be interesting to to map out the setups on EURJPY offered by HGI wavy along with entries for each that are confirmed by TDML breaks over the past 8 weeks.
For me TDMTL breaks are the opportunity to add 50% to a trade since I scale in with the first 50% (based on DL MACD Hurst, price action above 5TMA centerline and confirmation from the lower timeframe). I cannot accurately map out where I would have taken these first entries as the DL MACD Hurst and TMA refreshes upto 5 candles and this first entry for me is also subjective based on price action on the lower timeframe so I have taken the DL MACD hurst off the below chart so that it does not confuse when looking back.
DL MACD Hurst is a great trading aid in the moment to get that first entry in (which is also usually the exit for the previous trade). It is not needed for the second entry. Thanks again pips400 for sharing this indi though and the reason why I no longer use the TMAslope indi's. I find the DL MACD Hurst is far more accurate and perfect in combination with price action relative to the 5TMA centerline
OK so in the chart below the red TDMTL breaks are for shorts, and blue for longs. White verticle lines mark where I think I would have entered the second 50% looking back (and of course this is always easier looking back than in the moment so I am not saying I would have got in on all of these exact candles - I am often too early or too late but this would have been the aim). I have numbered the wavys that I have counted as setups which are always the first (regardless whether range or trend wavy - you could wait for the trend wavy but I get better entries off whichever one comes first). Often quite a few bars pass before the TDMTL break for each setup so I wanted to label each setup and the white line that follows each marks the entry candle.
The most recent line is dotted because it is not confirmed yet. Once markets open on Monday this line will be plotted since it is always looking 2steps back (which I find more accurate than 1step back but this is an option to play around with on the indicator). The short entry that I have already made on this chart is the first 50% for this current trade. I will add another 50% if this breaks through the new TDMTL line early next week.
Alternatively this line would make a good TP for the first trade from above the 5TMA centerline and just enter again if it breaks.
Bob introduced the TDMTL indicator to us in the 10.7 thread .. I had stopped using it with HGI but I had a revelation to use it here with Hurst and it makes so much sense to me as confirmation for the trades that are going to run. Further reading on this helpful indicator here:

One rule I like to use with TDMTL is that the previous candle to the candle that breaks the line must be away from the direction we wish to trade. i.e a down candle before entry candle for longs and an up candle before entry candle for shorts (the only exception for me being where there is doji or spinning top candle inbetween as long as the next previous was away from the the direction we wish to trade - like with setups 1 and 2 in the chart below). This rule often means that the first break of the TDMTL line is not counted and then price indeed retraces above the line and then breaks again. I take this second break for the entry.
So in the chart below even if just the white lines were taken in sequence as entry then exit and next entry (and these absolutely are not the best exit - far too late) we would have had 8 decent trades marked in sequence from Wavy 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 9-10, 10-11 (setups 7 and 8 are black because the TDMLT rule I outlined above was not met but if these breaks had been traded then 7-8 and 8-9 would have been slight loosers)
I hope this helps highlight why I use TDMTL alongside Hurst for setups highlighted by the Wavy HGI. First opportunity to enter usually highlighted by Hurst and the second with TDMTL... I will continue testing (and posting) next few days then this will be live.

Thanks for the posts TJ. I'm surprised more people aren't using the TDMTL indicator.
Do you only show wavy HGI signals because you find them the most powerful?
I've kept wavy's and trend sigs, but the 1hr signals have to pass the 1hr and 4hr hurst filter. Then they're prime.
