thanks a lot for that setfile, and yes it seems to work better now with positiveswap=FALSE. AWSS is now kicking butt and getting 1% profit faster. But i am still at 1% setting and no MTPM. It might that AWSS is now able to trade buy/sell of various pairs instead of checking for positive swaps for that pair b4 trading it. Thats limiting the ability of AWSS working with SS to hammer out trades

Some updated thoughts...

My V3 has been up and down for the last 9 days in and out of profit and came within £2 of closing the basket

currently -£37 but im going to let it carry on to see if it recovers. The good news is its given me lots of good info on how to improve the EA. I will need some help from the coders out there to add some features, if any one can help.

Firstly for testing purposes I would like to be able to clear the daily target array, I believe this can be done by resizing the array to clear it, a button or script would be perfect. I dont think we need the weekly so I have unselected it which seems to work fine.

Secondly a button or script to clear all active trades, this may already exist.

Thirdly the ability to close all trades at a given % of drawdown. Also close each timeframes trades at a set % drawdown.

Any help would be appreciated

Would be helpful too to include days to trade as well (so that we could off the EA not to worry abt over weekend trades). Setting off weekly target may enable us to get more profits as awss seems capable of closing slightly above that 1%, could be due to slips or just fantastic price quotes.

C1borg, I observe over 4 days of trading that positiveswap=FALSE seems to enable awss to pick sell n buy direction of different cur and enable closing within 4hrs max so far, last thu n fri awss close entire batch within 20-30mins

I am still using your v3 setfile with these changes
1) time is set to begin at 0100 instead of 0015
2) positiveswap=FALSE
3) those 4 cur u highlighted were taken out

I may try pandaboy's setfile of 2% and yes % of drawdown added instead of MTPM. Awss does have the margin level settings though, although % of drawdown is more concise as margin level can be still eg above 1000% but dd% could be eg 30% and some traders may not like it.

I have killed V3 as far as the DB (still a good base to start) and will soon use my V4 with Steves V1c which is doing well even on my 10K account earning £100 and more/day so far. On that subject whilst I need to manually intervene I will only add the DB EA to any unattended instance (its the rule) as for now I will have to manually intervene until software updates are applied.

Time of day is important as well as the positive swap false, but im still on the fence regarding taking out the loosing currencies, ive added one back in but left the worst 3 out.

Margin level isnt the same I mean a % DD used as a stop loss to close trade(s) not to prevent new trade(s) opening which is what margin level does.

Anyway "Awesome" progress

AWSS 1C is with 4 SS now? its growing faster than what one can catch up with. Pls share how's it going for 1C

1c is 1b with 4SS capability and fixed dollup code so essentially little difference.

My V4 will be added to the DB as soon as I can.

How much is the max drawdown of V4?

My V3 like demo has 35% max dd.

I went back to 0.01 lot and close at 11 usd and keeping it that until it reaches $2000.

11 to take into account spread, slippage when closing the basket.

Maybe the max dd can be lowered by avoiding trading the same currency twice but then the basket may not close every day.

No idea yet with V4 to early to say but will add to DB when I can use it without fiddling with the settings.

c1borg, i found that awss does know how to clean its own butt, it will delete off pending once basket close has been achieved. I didnt fiddle with that it just does its own cleaning. But to close all u may need that script, or nuclear option script that SH wrote sometime ago.
