Hi paul

Dont know why but my trades are still open they should have closed when they passed the 1000 pips DD. at that time I had 10 trades running with an adaptive stop loss from 100 pips
Later I put on 3 recovery trades so total adaptive stop loss is 1300 atm.

maybe I missed something in the setting ??

I had a problem on Tuesday evening with my MTBM which I didn't mention earlier because I thought maybe I missed a setting somewhere, but after the posts from fxozgirl and hansni I'm thinking maybe not......?
I had a basket running in profit at the time, came back 5 minutes later and it was 327 pips in drawdown!! Aaaaagh, why didn't my stoploss work!? I had set AdaptivePipsStopLoss set to 0 to disable it and set the PipsStopLoss to 200, so why didn't my basket get stopped out?
I sure don't know, but maybe it's something Baluda can put his finger on. I wasn't particularly concerned - I've had some great wins lately and with the wins come the inevitable losses however when I read the previous posts I thought there could be problem here.

Your work is just amazing and your generosity is immeasurable. You are providing creative thinkers with a collection of toys to play with. I personally love to play the “what if” game! and that’s why I can spend days on scenarios, especially when indis offer selectable user options. I almost forgot I had kids! (it’s OK, they’re adults…they can take care of themselves while daddy is playing).

I was just having a think about the AddSundayToMonday fix on SlopeValues. I am pretty sure Bob used Cowboy IBFX wen he came up with the ranging and trending values (.4/.8) and he didn't use the AddSundayToMonday fix when coming up with his results as it didn't exist.

The values I get on Cowboy IBFX are totally different depending on if I use the fix or not. I'm wondering if it's better not to use the fix as Bob's original findings were based on values given without the fix.

Wouldn't our set ranging and trending values be different if Bob had been testing on a br0ker that didn't need the fix?

Probably, but it's going to depend on how the code was implemented and how you run it.

If you ran it on D1 charts, then the Sunday bar makes a big difference -- now you have 6 bars a week instead of 5, and two of them have less range than usual.

If you run it on intraday bars, then I don't think it should make any difference. (As long as the code doesn't have problems like the code I fixed long ago, where it was specifically looking for Sunday bars.)

So I'm not sure but it's possible that you might be able to run e.g. NT's MTF indi, and see no difference on H4 slopes, but see a significant difference on D1 slopes.

Same with SlopeValues. It looks to me like Baluda's code only pays attention to the AddSundayToMonday stuff when timeFrame = D1.
