5000 pips in 1 week. This is a once in a lifetime event I think. Since starting this thread I have doubled my money.

My Empty4 with Cowboy IBFX has a close all orders function which works.

Bob - it has to be repeated - congratulations - I do not think there is a trader in the world who surpassed you yesterday - certainly not one who also has a day job.

I am proud to be associated with you and the Steve Hopwood forum. Dunno how Steve enticed you over here, but that investment must be paying off in spades now

Thanks for reminding me of that "Cowboy IBFX - Close All Orders" EA. I will try it at some stage - see post above where I needed to close 16 trades between 6 charts simultaneously.

Btw - I only banked about half of what you did in pips yesterday, but to use the very British expression: "I am chuffed!" My other pips were made from closing trades held over the weekend (Easter) and closed on Wednesday (GBPAUD 565 pips) ... so in all, if I count them, I have nearly 3000 pips in past 8 trading days.

Had I been prepared better (larger a/c funded) ... man ...

Bob, I don't know what to say to thank you! I also closed all of my GBP/JPY trade a couple hours earlier. It went up almost 100 pips again! So what's your take on now? Should we wait for a correction, or what? Like you said indicators don't work in this situation. But I don't want to jump in at this level either, because we may get caught, in the short term. It doesnt really make much difference where or when you enter. I just enter anywhere, price is going to be driven down and this will be going on for months of even years. I may not use a SL all this month with JPY pairs.

I checked FF and only 43% of traders are long gbp/jpy. That means 57% are having their heads handed to them on a platter. The vast majority of traders, even professional did not know this was going down. Indi guys are getting killed. You noticed I didnt follow 10.4 reads, this was 100% a fundamental read. For some of you this is your first experience of knowing what a Macro-Fundamental move is. Last year was SNB we are not going to appreciate the CHF and Fall 2008 was the worldwide economic meltdown. Those are Macro-economic news and Indis mean nothing or trading systems mean nothing. Some traders yesterday played the double bottom and made some money. Those that understood the Macro-economics made a killing. These are the type of trades the Soros and Buffets look for. You will read in a month or two how these guys made xxxx billions of dollars again. The big boys are in, the big banks are in and if you think you can retrace off of their massive buys (JPY sells) you are very very high on something.

I am 1.5 hours into the jpy session and am up another 2% of my account. I dont even have lines anymore to enter from. I am just entering anywhere now.
