....... If you don’t mind I would like to have your view on my trades, because I think I might be using too high leverage. This is only a Demo account, where I have 100,000USD, and I traded with 1lot positions, because I think I read that Bob is using 0.5lots in 50,000USD account.

Did you guys have similar results? Was this a normal day, or did I miss any big event that went big on my way? Or did I overtraded? ........

Hi

One standard lot trade on a $100,000 USD account, or 1%, is usually considered "unleveraged". So your 6+% is a very nice day at the office. :D

Agreed, if trading one trade at the time. When running multiple trades, leverage does come into play.
Me for myself use the same lotsize/ balance, Bob on the other hand uses 1/10th of this in last week examples.

Which makes sence, I get 1:500 leverage where Bob gets 1:50 because he is a US-citizen.

Should also have mentioned if you can keep your drawdown at 15% or better (preferably 10% or better) while all your trades are open (i.e. equity as a % of balance) that is also a good indicator that you aren't "overtrading", or having too many trades open at any one time.

I'm Portuguese, also from the north (Braga).
I'm not using HGI but I am demoing HGB with good results so far (OOTB, updating versions as they come out).

Would love to see an SHF meeting happening in our country.

I humbly suggest reading the booklet attached to post1, and then start reading post2, post3 etc.
There are millions of ways to trade this, by reading you find your own.

You have over 50 hours before the markets open again for a new week, so there's no rush.

Nope. Invite those guys over here. They sound like they might be on to something. Somebody said somewhere at some time that FF is owned by the more criminal of the so-called 'brokers'. I am quoting hearsay and so do not know if this is true; if so, it sure explains the behaviour of TIT and the rest.

Good thing too. Without TIT, we would not all be here enjoying the fruits of everything that has gone on. Well done TIT. :clap:

Hi Fonesca, forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but this was not a normal day, it was a big event, the first Friday of every month is the biggest event in the forex calendar commonly known as Non Farm Payroll. Like I say forgive me if you knew that, and welcome to HGI
