This is where I will discuss trades with my 10.2 system. I hope to post here my daily trades and thoughts.

This is my official version of 10.2 updated June 2, 2012. It is the same one I posted at FF but I am beginning my move to Steve's Forum. As I transition I will use this page for my updates.

I would like to give my thanks to the many contributors to this system and many are listed in the booklets however I want to say thanks to FMuir whose finger prints are on almost every page of the booklets and adjustments to almost every indicator. Without him 10.2 would still be in the dream stage. I went back into my email box and so far he has sent me over 210 emails in the last two months working and help developing this system. I wish him the best and acknowledge that without him and several other contributors 10.2 would not be here yet. So I want to publicly thank Frank for all the work and tireless hours he has put into this project.

Also, Bob is taking a break. Just commenting here and there. There are so many people that have grasped the basics and are able to trade and teach I can take a break. Went to Guangzhou last week. Maybe the beaches at Bei Hai this week or next. Then I want to go see my family in the USA. When I return I will be getting school ready for the fall and will be near a computer most of the day again.

Bob is taking a WELL DESERVED BREAK and so he should. After giving us (the idiots) all the instruments needed for trading the forex successfully on a platter. You should rest and recharge the batteries. As for me I am so much engulfed in work (London Olympics keeping us extremely busy), that I have no time for trading at present. However, will restart mid September with a vengance. So the criminals should watch out .

Excuse any typos whilst posting this guys, but I have a cat sat on my knee and headutting my hands as I type.

I am the PCA here, but even my powers are limited. Bob, when I say that you are banned from posting here for one month, then this is an, um, virtual thingy rather than an actual thingy.

Nevertheless, we do not expect to hear from you for a month, ok? You have done more than enough for the rest of us already, so enjoy a break.

Guys, this was posted over at FF by Bob - I added the missing indicator by NT, you probably have to update the template though.....

I just want to say I do very little trading on lower TF. That is because of my job I may not see my computer for 8 hour or more at a time and my sleep time is through most of the USA session. So I pretty much stick to 4H or daily trading. I did not mention lower TF trading because I seldom do it.

However, 10.2A would be much simpler to use with lower TF. You take the cross of the daily pivot in the direction established by the weekly and monthly pivots. This can be done on any TF using any indicator you like to use. The purpose of 10.0 series was to get the trend bias right and then trade that direction. Here is my latest test version. Included is the templates and two indicators. An explanation of 10.2A is included but uses slightly different indicators and pics. This test version is the simplest version yet. Also the TMA slope indicator has been change to 3 and 6 instead of 4 and 8. This reflects the differences between this slope indicator reference numbers and the previous versions. Dont want to get into the debate on that issue for now but this is how I am testing it. Very simple now 3 pivot lines to check trend, weekly S/R lines for TP, entrance and SL points. Follow the trend on any TF now. The daily, weekly, monthly pivots are drawn on every TF. Have fun.

The numbers 3,6 are based when the highs are broken and there is a breakout. With the bars supposedly being accurate for back testing you will see breakouts happen between the 2 and 3 mark so that would be a better number to use. Again this is a test version and not an official replacement. Will get back later I have to check on the rewire job on the school office and the new lock being put on the office door. My wife finally gets her wish for a remodeled office.

For those of you who trade 10.2a manually I have modified the order entry EAs to work with 10.2.a: Instead of the MA the EAs use the Daily Pivot as an entry trigger. Other functionality unchanged. Apply them during a retracement. The EA will enter a trade when price crosses the DP.

Hi Bob and others, just thought I would share a set-up based on what Bob mentioned, also with another TMA filter.

Trade in the direction of TMA slope 15min open trades when price pops over the MA and is showing strong enough on the 1M TMA. Then grab 8 points.

Could be fun while Baskets are doing their thing or keeping us out ?

Can someone tell me why I don't get Weekly Pivot line on the chart using post 1 indicators and templates from Bob?
