Hi, thank you for the answer. It is always a good read. You are right, the Forex jungle is a thick one and in the beginning you think you have to use the all sorts of tools they are to get through. The further you go the more apparent it is that simplicity combined with PA is the way to go. Fox is not cutting down the trees to get pass them, it is slinking around fast and unharmed.Couldn`t help, not to say it As you said and many before you 10.4 is a great system, if you are a beginner or has been trading for some time.If combined with the visual side of price movement it is becoming a very powerful way of trading. I know this is just general many times said bla bla stuff, but patience, good MM with clear set of rules when to get in and to get out can get you out of the harms way.Why is it clear now and not while trading, that`s the question, probably can`t see through the dollar signs in my eyes or my head is just not big enough to keep it inside and simple use it when needed. Enough said about the theory back to the head clearing for Monday. |

Early last week Bob said: I took this sage advice to heart. I closed a couple of losing non-yen trades I had open and focused mainly on EJ, but a few others too. I made good use of the scale-in scripts and kept buying as I rode the wave. Several times, when I couldn't stand it, I closed some of the earlier winners to lock in pips. I also increased my normal lot size. I figured since this fundamental news was such a rare occasion, I would be not crazy not to use it to my best advantage. Thursday evening, I closed all of my trades, but left several scaled-in pendings above. During the night I had a whole new batch of trades open up! Finally on Friday at lunch time, I closed all trades and took a breather. I was kind of sorry I closed out so soon because EJ kept on rising for the last few trading hours. But as they say, no one ever went broke taking profits. For the week I locked in 1,152 pips and my account increased 27%!!! Yikes! Bob ( and Steve & CJ), thank you so much for your continued advice and inspiration. Fantastic! Sam |

That is great to read, Sam. Well done. We go back a long way now, and it is great that you had such a magic couple of days. |

Hey guys. fx800 has come up with a neat idea for using Gday M2 for re-entering the xxxJPY trades next week. Read his contribution at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 785#p52785, then post one in the thread to download the ea and find out how it works. You would set StochTimeFrame to 60 to enter after a retrace and resumption on the M60, 30 on the M30 etc. |

I know there are several people in here from FF. I recognize some names and I am sure there are others, like myself, who opted to change their screen names. I go back to 2006, was known as Hard1head1. I was also one of Money Ducks cronies. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows where the likes of Money Duck, London Dave, Phillip Nell, Tamkras or Donna Beerman are now. Tamkras had an interesting scheme where she used inside tops and inside bottoms. Does anyone know or even remember? They were good friends who just dissappeared. Anyway, just thought I would reach out. Thanks, Jim |

Hey Steve Looking at the Stoch 5,3,3 on Bob's 10.5 framework (i.e., H1) you had an excellent signal to get in after the pull back on Friday for the yen pairs. cmeade2

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone is using the BE strategy as per 10.4 rules successfully (moving stop loss after 2nd trade was entered), I mean not to get hit BE too often. If not what has been working for you?I my self was experimenting with MPTM instead .If this was answered already I am sorry just couldn`t find it in the history.Thank you |

I agree, I would prefer stoch 5,3,3 to 7,2,2. Please check out the charts I posted yesterday on page 290, the torquoise line is 5.3,3 linear weighted close. |

Right I have the same setup from Bob's framework. In general, I am finding that if you have a flat line on the H4 RSI(2) at high/low levels, then the H1 stoch 5,3,3, gives a great indication of when to get back in the trend. In this case the stoch is the opposite of the RSI(2). Friday for the yen pairs was a great example. But as I look back at charts there are many more examples, though not as profitable.

Let 's try out Steve's Gday mk2 ea next week on yen pairs and see what happens. Set trading tf to 60, trade long only. |
