True. I suppose this is why Steve Mauro says to trade from stophunt to stophunt; the stophunt of pre-London to the stophunt of NY. So which volume indicator do you use and why?
This one (black and white versions). The reason is that this indicator has an ALARM setup. I always select the '2' setup for this parameter. I do not need to be watching the charts...They trigger the alarm automatically.

Spot on! This is the exact same thing I have been doing with this exact same indicator, but it's been sitting only on my M15 charts!

Well...Now...Let's make PIPS... The first opportunity is the Asian Session Expansion. They will break with a longer candle in any direction.

Way to instantly spot the chart that breaks the simple explanation. ;) You buy after those big red candles and it was suicide. But the 1HR chart is NOT showing the whole picture. Even the 5 min is distorting it during the hard trend.

If you go all the way down to 1M you will see on those spikes down. MM gives it a shove initially. Sometimes a little nudge through resistance, and then takes profit at the bottom.

Remember this is dynamic. They have level II info on volume and stops and know exactly where the best nudges will work. Tricky foxes.

If you were REALLY going LONG after those RED SPIKES DOWN at 0.9255 you ARE BROKE. Same thing applies now. Careful over simplifying.

The trick is doing things BEFORE they occur. Those candles are RUN FOR PROFITS. MMs should have been given clues about those movements. That is the mission of the Naked Trading method. Remember that a RUN FOR PROFITS is, at the same time, A POSITION BUILDING. They have money...We don't.

Before you run Banteka, could you please explain a bit further what you mean with this. Could you give a few short notes on "RUN FOR PROFITS" and "POSITION BUILDING".

Hey Mike, that's pretty cool. So the red candles are selling volume, blue is turning around and green is buying volume? Could you share the indicator which colours the candles? That makes it very visual.

Before you run Banteka, could you please explain a bit further what you mean with this. Could you give a few short notes on "RUN FOR PROFITS" and "POSITION BUILDING".
RUN FOR PROFITS: The MMs need to make money. Thus, they move the price very fast in order to obtain profits, as we see when a release or news are about to happen.

POSITION BUILDING: Process whereby MMs place SELLING or BUYING orders in order to take the money in a RUN FOR PROFITS process.

A long candle in H1 is always a Run For Profits process and a Building Position process.

It is part of the same template Banteka is using. I've come to really enjoy them. CJ got me back to watching volume after ignoring it in forex due to lack of centralized data.

TraderAtHome has done some very nice work over in the sonic thread at FF.

His instructions for use are within the code.
1. Special Volume/Price Situations-
Candlesticks emphasized with special colors to denote special volume/price situations help
you quickly associate them with the correct volume bars.
A. Climax Candles
Candles where the product of candle spread x candle volume is highest for the 20 most
recent candles. Bull candles are green and bear candles are red.
B. Rising Above Average Candles
Candles where volume is greater than the product of 1.38 x the average volume of the
10 most recent candles. These candles are blue.
