Latest update in post 1.

I have added code to insert missing stops and tp's when they are missing - see the last input in the sl/tp inputs section in post 1.

Added a CloseOnTrendChange input, to close a trade when the trend reverses.

There is nothing i can do about the size of the levels shown on "FIBO" objects, unfortunately;
this is controlled only by Empty4, and i cannot find any setting for that anywhere.....

However, what we can do is replacing the text in the FIBO by text labels as steve had it in the early version; from there we can control the sizes.
I'll add that to the next release.

ok, here goes....


this one will draw S&R "zones" rather than individual levels;

It will group/aggregate individual S&R levels into a single "zone" when 2 different S&R levels are less than "SR_Grouping_Range" pips away from each other.

- It also adds a "buffer" around each "zone" of SR_Zone_Buffer pips each side.
So each SR level or zone now has a minimum of 2*SR_Zone_Buffer pips range.

- it also draws "price labels" at the right side of the SR zones, one at the top and one at the bottom, with a user selectable "SR_Price_Labels_size", for those who are having a hard time reading the Fib values..... :geek:


I have set it to display D1 SR zones only, 10 north + 10 south, to get a wider picture.


Here is how it looks like on EU with DaysBack set to 300 to show a "grouped SR zone":
the pink S1 zone is results from combining 2 nearby SR levels (+5p buffer):

as you can see, this "grouped SR zone" acted exactly as per the book:
- touch and bounce early this morning at market open: level acts as Resistance;
- re-test a bit later after about a 25 pips hook south,
- broke the level north by 35 pips, (several times, go to M5 to see the multiple re-tests)
- came back re-testing it several times from north side: now the level has clearly turned to Support: price SHOULD go up
- after the final re-test, we went north right to the next Resistance level at 3478-3488 zone.

Pretty reliable S/R pattern.... happens all the time!

for the EA:
i have kept the same object names for the SR zones, however, these names now reference "Rectangle" objects representing the displayed zones, including the extra buffer-pips;
This means OBJPROP_PRICE1 will now get you the LOW value of the SR zone, not the "middle" price.

So now you have the choice to either:
- use a single SR zone "center" level by calculating

  D1R1 = ( ObjectGet(D1_R1, OBJPROP_PRICE1) + ObjectGet(D1_R1, OBJPROP_PRICE2) ) /2;
- or you can go with the High and Low separate values and change the EA to set the pending orders accordingly, typically buystop at D1_R1 High price (=OBJPROP_PRICE2), with TP set to next zone Low price (=OBJPROP_PRICE1 of D1_R2); etc.


You can retrieve the hi and low zone levels like this:

I think there is still a bug in the grouping algorithm, which sometimes may display the R zone nearest to PA too far away south when PA in inside this zone...
I will try to track and fix it...

Fantastic, sq. Stunning again.

I have gone for the middle-of-the-band option for pending trade price and band-based stops. I have saved the more detailed code as a comment block in case it turns out to be better to set at the extremes.

Update in post 1. I have also replaced the indi with sq's latest version.

I'm not getting any trades, not one, but I am being battered by a constant string of "Buy/Sell order send failed with error (130):invalid stops". I have the EA loaded on about 12 pairs.

Any suggestions out there?

Strange. Delete your current version entirely and re-download. Sometimes a download fails even though it appears to succeed.

No joy. I deleted the old Empty4 and loaded a fresh one. Even did a registry scan to clear out any old junk. Brand new downloads fro Post #1.

Also tried rubbing stomach while patting my head, while standing one foot and howling at the moon. My wife thinks I'm spending too much time at this.

Still a constant barrage of 130 invalid stop errors.

If you have an idea, please PM me. I hate to clutter the thread with install issues.
