These are links to a couple of backtests and a small live test of one of the many systems by buddy and I put together some time ago. You will see that we had a high win rate that was offset by 100 or 200 pip stop(this is where my partner and I had major differences as to money management) while only taking profits of 7-8-9 or 9-10-11 pips.

It's quite possible to build a robust system with an excellent hit rate. The problem is finding a broker that will actually let you run it. We were told by two brokers (both now out of business) that we couldn't run our EA's on their platform. We were given a host of pure BS reasons for this and eventually dropped the matter and went ton to design things that would keep us under the radar and not get our account flagged. The brokers in question were IB's and I guess they had a hard time offsetting our trades. The statement in .doc format was done that way to hide the indicators and settings info that is usually at the top of the backtest. (My trading partner still wants to remain discreet) One statement is a live forward test of about a month or so - and one statement is from a small live account we ran before we went live with much larger starting balance. That was when the issues began with the brokers - not in the mood at the moment to re-live the entire soap opera but I will tell you it was a real eye opener to the working of many brokers. We will revisit several of the systems we created and tweak them for the new rules and regs and keep you posted. Our original ,programmer is no longer working with us so I will reach out the amazing minds here for some help when we are ready.

99%+ wins. Seems pretty unlikely to me, but who knows. He uses 10 pip TP and 75 pip SL. By random chance you'd get about 88% wins. 11% more wins shouldn't be THAT hard, right?

I'm not that familiar with fxstats, but if you look on the summary page under "Risk", the probability of 100% loss is 100%

It's still more probable that their systems are fake, so further analysis is just a waste of time, just trying to cut my losses in that sense so to speak.

In real, remove increased spread, ordersend errors, slippage, .5 to .75 pip commission. If i had a milliondollar making machine (or even a hundreddollar). First i won't talk about on forums, second, i would'nt talk about to nobody, third, i would'nt distribute the ex4, fourth, i wouldn't ask 49$ for the ex4. As simple as 1234. Reverse-engineering a system from its trades is NOT easy, but you can do it just by looking at charts and observing patterns: does he usually trade at a certain time? What's the setup? One difficulty is that (assuming the trades are real) it's very possible the guy was trading discretionarily -- meaning he might not have been acting consistently, or he might have been trading several different types of signals. Sorting out the trades and determining which ones are from signal A and which from signal B can be very tricky, but you need to do it if you want to find the consistent patterns for each signal. It might be easier to start with the EA report that eddysukses posted. That was apparently an EA, so at least that should be acting consistently. It still might have several unrelated entry signals but it should be easier to reverse-engineer than a human's trades. Hi Garry, The good news is there is a huge chance to be only one strategy here forward tested by that guy. There are some rules for sure, but: First I would start with loses .. SL is 40 pips. Openings Then there is only one trade at a time, most time alternating. This means something like a MA cross or ZZ. Exits. - fix TP of 40 after a SL is hit. Duration - around 1 day so big TF. Would be nice a script to load the trades from a txt file and plot on Empty4.
