Thanks for your comment. Yes, it took alot of work and patience, over 8 months of testing, to get a stable combination of indikators that complemented one another; doing what I was wanting it to do. Symphonie is not trying to catch the very tops or bottoms; it is design to catch the backsides of the movement after the top or after the bottom have been established.

That way one catch the meat of a price action movement. That is what makes this System SOOO powerful. Once the tops/bottoms are defined you just ride the rest of the movement until you get the topping/bottoming signals. Again, no system is not 100% but using Symphonie consistantly and using my money management guidlines and exit strategies you can become a profitable more consistant trader.

Thanks! Out of curiosity, would the impact of the crisis be reduced if you traded only non-European pairs? E.g. definitely drop EUR pairs, maybe CHF and GBP too? Or has the crisis roiled all the markets so much that even USDCAD and AUSJPY would have trouble?

As already mentioned in the original thread at FF, indicators this strategy uses for displaying "extreme spike" give quite different result in different brokers. Why don't you trade the Symphonie System on those pairs for a month and let us know the results. I would think you would have similiar success. Evaluator.

Just remember that you will not be right 100% of the time but the times you are right will greatly outnumber the times you are wrong. The whole key to the System is to be consistant and follow strictly the Money Management rules I laid out.

I have found that the indicators repaint (not just the active bar). This means that if you look at historical graphs they look great. This means that accurate testing can only really be done by forward testing the system. This is not a problem for the system but note that a visual test is useless. GAC

GAC I agree the repainting part is most frustrating but not something that kills the system model. I wish there was a better way to guage the extremes of price action but there is not....only marking in time each new high or low as the market makes one last gasp before finnally change in price action.
