Hi Dave, everyone!!!

I'm very interested in what you have shared Dave. However, I want to keep this simple - both for myself and for anyone else who may be struggling with the subjective aspect of trading 10.4.

I have, nevertheless, incorporated your idea of combing both RSI[2] AND Laguerre.

I'll report my figures on the following basis from now on:

[For shorts] RSI[2] must cross below the 0.15 line and Laguerre must follow - ON A CLOSED H4 CANDLE.

Then I will simply enter on the first 3EMA/8EMA crossover DURING the EURO/NY sessions. Will keep taking these up to a maximum of 4 failures.

Results last week and so far this week on this basis would be [risking 2% per deal]:

AUDUSD +8%
CHFJPY -2%
CHFJPY -2%
CHFJPY trade open. Currently +39 pips for a risk of 27 pips.
EURGBP +8%
EURGBP -2%
EURGBP -2%
EURJPY -2%
EURJPY trade open. Currently +13 pips for a risk of 23.
EURNZD -2%
EURNZD -2%
EURNZD +8%
EURUSD +8%
GBPCHF -2%
GBPCHF trade open. Currently -11 pips for a risk of 45 pips.
GBPJPY +8%
GBPNZD -2%
GBPNZD -2%
GBPNZD -2%
GBPUSD +8%
GBPUSD -2%
GBPUSD -2%
USDCAD -2%
USDCAD +8%
USDCAD -2%
USDCAD -2%
USDCHF trade open. Currently -9pips for a 45pip risk
USDJPY +8%
USDJPY +8%

Excluding open trades, that's a 40% increase guys!!

Hopefully this will spark the interest of one of our coders now.

What would be VERY VERY useful would be an alert when RSI[2] goes above 0.85 AND Laguerre follows to go above 0.85 - on a CLOSED CANDLE BASIS [and vice versa of course!]

Also, two scripts to enter the trades on the M15 chart. One for longs and one for shorts.

Oh! BTW, the EMA crossover I posted DEFINITELY does show EMA crosses!!! :D :D

I am not sure whether the first part would be possible Rob in quite that way as the RSI[2] doesn't really "know" anything about those 0.15 and 0.85 levels. I think it would have to be an approximation of the RSI level - 90ish/10ish?

:lol: :lol: We are going to have to agree to disagree on that one - I thought the screen shots I sent were fairly conclusive! Doesn't really matter anyway I guess - it works either way!!

I am going to get in trouble with the wife soon - supposed to be on holiday - so I'll leave it there. Can't wait to get my teeth in to this next week. I have another idea that I need to test that I think you might like Rob - if I am right those numbers may look even better :shock:

I appreciate that the RSI[2] doesn't "know"anything about the 0.15 and 0.85 levels, but that's what you mentioned in your original observations!!!

Lol - EMA EMA EMA EMA!! Lol!!!

If you want to avoid getting into trouble with the missus, PM me your idea and I'll gladly backtest......
