yes Angat please continue to post here in this thread when you are able -- it is helpful I am new to Captain Jack's method I am gonna download the pdf and study it -- but it is very appealing to me and I think it fits the style that I have kind of built up over time on my own (not profitably yet but I am working very hard on it -- I have been hard at it for a year now in my own way -- I get lots of screen time) I very much like what you said about new traders starting on the smaller time frames and it should be the other way around -- Trading is different than any other endeavor I have chased -- other things you can decide when you are gonna do it and if you are a hard worker you can get things done -- not so in trading It drives me crazy when the sessions end and I am still all revved up to go -- I work my day job from home and It would be no problem for me to check on the charts every 20 minutes or so -- but I can't be staring at them like a scalper -- so I think my task at hand is to do what you have said and learn how to make it work from a higher time frame -- and that is hard because I have been trying to pack as much learning into each week as possible -- but it is time for me to start learning with a farther out perspective -- I am zoomed in too tight I think. I'll be honest, I'm not sure about everyone else, but it's taken me a long time to finally get most of what CJ talks about. It's like someone can tell you but you need still need to see it for yourself and then practice, practice, practice. The fox is always trying to lead you astray. What also helped was stopping trading for awhile and then coming back to it fresh. Like this week on EU. I've been completely torn. Is price going to rise or is price going to fall. The fox is good at what he does. This is a tricky one. |

My current thought is EU is going to fall not rise. Not 100% as always. Looks like a "M" very range bound so its hard to tell. We have had 3 pushes up, we can expect some retracement. Lets see how this plays out. :hi: |

Im not trading EU as I dont see any good set-ups for entry (I have 27 other pairs to choose from). However I think EU will be going up to 1.153. Of course its going to tease us more for a while. My logic for that is the daily doesnt look like it has moved "enough" to complete the 3rd push. Good luck! |

It's a tough game. Even the people who think they know what they are doing, still get it wrong sometimes. Eventually when you understand what's going on, you'll get it right more often than wrong and that's what counts.  |
