Same thing happened to me, but not to that scale! Only one phantom trade while I placed G on a pair that didn't have all the data downloaded

Yeah, looks like it got stuck in a loop, I usually don't run so many charts but I thought I'd give graeme a good work out...Guess Empty4 couldn't keep up with me... :lol:

Added the fix to the post 1 update.

I think we should adopt Empty4 to describe the platform - a highly descriptive and deadly accurate term. :lol:

Would someone like to pop Graeme into the thread at FF? I would, but I am a Filthy Commercial member and cannot. It seems a shame to deny them just because TIT is a tit.

Big things are to remember:
  • Few of the ea's I code reach my demo trading machine
    Of those that do, few last for more than a few days
    Mostly, I release buggy code at an early stage of development. This one I hung onto until I was fairly sure the code was robust. Therefore, it had to spend even more time than is normal surviving on demo.
The results of this so far are the most outstanding of any EA I have tested on demo. As things stand at the mo, I have nearly 1% (of starting balance) closed trades; the open position has a positive upl that has gradually increased as the week progresses - currently at about 2.5%

All this an an Cowboy IBFX Aussie demo that means one pip movement = not very much, so the margin level has never been below about 3000% despite there being a lot of open trades.

This does not look good. It looks fantastic.

This is extremely encouraging... First off, congrats on a marvelous piece of work here! Second, and this is just pure curiosity, as I know you have on occasion put up a myfxbook page for other tests you've done, but do you have one for this particular EA test? Either way, no big deal, again just curious... Once again, hat's off for this Picasso!

My eu ea en trades have gone past the -100 pip mark an still have not closed. I noticed there are no sl &tp dashed lines on any of those pairs charts.

Is anyone having trouble with G/U trades. It seems like EA is opening order for .02 lots and then immediately closing 1/2. It does this over and over. Then it gives me a error code "stop loss modification failed with error (130): invalid stops.

Not seeing that on my demo. Can you paste a screen shot of the display so we can see what it thinks it is doing (00 levels, Jumping Stop Loss). Or just type them in for us.

I took the EA of of G/U and then reloaded it. It placed a trade but it's not doing the same behavior now. I'll post another screenshot if it starts acting up again.

Hi to all,

I've started Graeme EA on Thursday and till now the results are very goods: 1 trade closed at +25pips and other 9 open trades (+8 -1) for a total +350pips (OOTB ).

Only a question: during the chart input on Empty4, Graeme start immediatly a trade and immediately close it. This behavior has happened to pairs with high spread:

I'm getting itchy to throw this on a live account this week. I hate demos. I feel like I'm going to trade it different than live or I'll just miss out if it's positive.

I have a couple of small mircos that I can use unless someone here talks me off the ledge :lol:

When I do, I'll post the myfxbook in my sig to follow.
