hi guys, just thought would report back, 4 trades today, 3 hit stop,NZDUSD, NZDCHF, GU, AUDUSD i closed manually +about 25 pips, i've now put version 5.05 on, and its just opened two trades, AUDCHF, long, its above the DP but below the 250, and long AUDJPY, opened the trade under the DP, but above the 240, i havent touched any of the settings '

Hi Art,

My AUDCHF H4 is presently trading above 240LWMA and has been for some time.

Not sure why your AUDJPY opened a trade under the DP. Did you recompile the ea with the Expert Adviser tab at the top panel turned on ? Sometimes, that can trigger a trade even when the conditions are not met.

No AUDJPY trades open on mine at the moment. Of course, different broker feeds may account for this.

Can you please post the relevant charts. Are you using H4 time frame ?

sorry senior moment, my audchf is above the 240 but below the 60 the same as yours, i have to go out will post the audjpy chart when i get back, i'm using 4 hour time frame

5.04 also opened an AUDJPY long under the pivot.

Oh dear, I wonder what could be the problem.

Have you changed the chart back to normal candles and see if it crossed the DP ?

Any ideas, coders ?

Normal candles give just the same reading. I wish I could help with the bug, but my ignorance is endless.

Anyway, I closed it manually with a little profit.

Hi Peter,

the problem is you call CalculatePivots(0) this return always 0, must be CalculatePivots(Symbol())
