Thank you Tommaso, I am also thinking of a trailing/jumping Pending hedge to protect profit in case price turn around against current position. I would rather use a hedge than SL. Haggadah |

Tommasso, You might be interested in your next version of the Pending EA based on the following idea. Measuring momentum using price against real time as a tool in placing pending orders. For example a hard coded 15 pips distanceToprice on EURUSD, we let time to trigger an order. On M15 TF for example, on Bar opening, we allow 15 minutes to cover the 15 pi[ps distance to trigger a trade. if a trade won't trigger, the EA will reset the distanceToprice (15 pips) to current price at the next bar opening (or next 2 bar opening). This process will measure momentum against price. The M15 tf is just an example, and if we are sending a lot of trades (or no trades) we then adjust to a lower / higher tf as appropriate. By the way, the EA is working fine in my active account. Haggadah |

Hi Milanese, Hi Traders, I tried the “hidden pending” EA, which seems to me closer to my requirements as the “all pair trade manager”, especially concerning the stacking feature (pyramiding). As longer as I work with, I did taken into account, that both trade managers contains below requested features respectively modules, but distributed in each of them. It seems to me, that both EA´s maybe could merge closer. Anyway I`m afraid, that some traders would complain, that the EA-improvements will blow up to much and it should remain simple and easy to manage (kiss principle). I suggest to use true/false switches and to save the settings for the different markets. If a new version should be available, I´d like to suggest in advance, not to delete or substitute the previous one, until a new version will run proper. Actuall problem: After definition of the distances for buy and sell, I adapted afterwards manually the price in the setting “price buy” (USDJPY, previous buy-stop-pending = 107.34 adapted to 107. 44). Simultaneously I switched the sell-stop-pending to false. But the new buy-stop-pending-price did not move in the position as expected. Maybe there are internal relationships in the settings, I didn´t yet consider. “Milanese” has been ask for additional functions and improvements. 1. I`d like to suggest, that it should not mandatory to use hidden pendings. Easy spoken, a switch for both conditions by true/false, can solve this request. 2. The actual version of the EA use the current price to place above and below pending orders by an defined pip-distance, which are still equal for buy and sell pendings. Not only in the way a hedge order is used, instead of a SL, the distances of the buy- and sell-pending should provide different distances definitions/settings. E.g. a setting by “Pip-distance for buy trade” and a different “Pip-distance for sell trade”, which is common called the “Risk-Reward” (RR). Actually the RR = 1:1. It would make sense to use different distances for the pendings, especially, if we trade with focus one direction with a RR of 1:2 or higher, sometimes even vice versa. Therefore from my point of view the RR- settings should be entered manually, although some traders wants the RR- feature to be calculated automatically. Further on, in addition buy- and sell- pendings should have their settings for different resp. variable lotsize. 3. A more advanced feature might be, if we are generally focused to trade one direction, to move the appropriate opposite pending according to the actual price movement resp. direction, similar like a trailing stop. If price will e.g. move long, the so called “hedging sell stop” or even a buy-limit pending should move according to the price-movement by the defined pip-distance. 4. Further on I´d like to ask, if it possible to run the EA also immediately/adhoc as an initial order, if no order is already entered in the appropriate market? The feature we probably would need in addition, might be a graphical symbol/button in the chart to start resp. to trigger an initial order by placing in addition the pendings in the chart, defined in the settings. I don´t have a better idea for that kind of functionality, due to the Empty4-crap. 5. Anyway, if orders are already in the market performs, especially after a new order has to be already entered, I´d suggest to use a similar function already realized by the “all pair trade manager”, to attach and interconnect the EA on any existing ticket number in the appropriate pair/chart. It might be an alternative, if a button-feature provided in the chart, would cause to much coding effort. I hope, that the suggestions will match also other trader’s todo schedule. Today it did make fun, to see the EA harvesting (by live control) the EUR/USD, short (70 pips) and afterwards long (35 pips), although some features are still missing. Trade well my friends Over60 |

Hi Milanese, Sorry by the way from an battle-scarred veteran. The problem with RR has been solved for stop-orders. Different price-distances for Risk-Reward (RR) works, if SetAutopendingStopBuy or SetAutoPendingStopSell is set to false, with input of manual price by PendingPriceBuy or PendingPriceSell. But for the limitpendings-buy and -sell, there is no variable for the price-input like with the stop pendings available. Might be solved by a switch, 1 = stop-orders, 2 = limit orders or by additional variables, to avoid misunderstandings in reference to the definition and function of limit-pendings. Furthermore I miss a visual indication for TP and SL (hidden), actually not visible in the chart, resp. only defined in the settings. Trade well my friend Over60 |

Hi Over60, yes TP/Sl are not shown in the chart as I use the hidden pending EA always with the allPairTradeManager and as I wrote before I myself do not use hidden SL/TP.., but I have noticed all your inputs and they are considered for a new version, thank you for your inputs and your testing! Maybe others here will too have some ideas to implant in further versions.. Cheers and good trades Tommaso |

Milanese, I tried moving the Green/Red Lines up and down but somehow it is not working. The Pending price (if distance to price is used) should populate its respective fields and will move and follow whenever the green/red lines is move (to Support and Resistance levels or wherever) around the screen . This may solve some of the ideas suggested earlier. Haggadah |

the pending price if you use the automatic calculation is set when you set the EA to the chart, if you want a new calculation you must reintialize the EA, this EA is only thought for setting hidden pending order(s) it is a helper for manual trading ... Changing the price with moving the lines is so far not supported. Cheers Tommaso |

Hi Milanese and traders, I´m also the opinion that the hidden features do not provide any big advantages as they did in the past. E.g. Global Prime and in the meantime other brokers use reduced stop-loss-levels (1-2 pips, depending on the pair). In comparison, some month ago, most of the brokers did provide still 5-10-15 Pips for the stop-loss-levels in the major-pairs. So for me too, there is no need for hidden features in general. But, nice to have… During high volatility periods (e.g. spikes, e.g. caused by news), even with hidden pendings, we will not get a market order filled (open as also close) by slippage, resp. caused by the variable and expanded spread. On the opposite, a not hidden pending might be provide a better chance to get filled, because they are placed in the market and already routed to the broker. It is common known that the criminals will come into game, slowing down their server by reduced tick-service or by shutting down their server completely (recently again happened). “Jem” (Global Prime) did mention something about this issues. It might be also depend sometimes on the appropriate broker’s deliberateness, traders terms of conditions in reference to the account, server capacity and so on... It seems to me not always influenced and manipulated. Slippage must not be caused exclusively by criminal intentions, it depends sometimes on the predefined settings in the users option menu as also in the setting of the order window. Thanks Tommaso for this convenient idea, to have such a spread-control feature. What I don´t know and could not trail yet, what will happen, when an order was rejected (by reqoute). Does the TM tries to open (or close) an order (…how many times) or does the “spread control” prevent completely further ordering? During the past week, the hidden-pending-TM did work proper and solid. @ Milanese. BTW, I did not expect something others. As longer as I work with and did become routine, I came to the conclusion, to have an all in one TM, referring features, especially such as BE-protection, partial profit and trailing, which are implemented in the AllPairTradeManager. As I already stated out, I´m not a coder to consider and estimate the effort, also missing internal Empty4-coding possibilities. Just a few words about the features SL and TP, to be not displayed yet. I´d like to ask, if it will make sense, to use graphical objects for displaying SL and TP in the chart, although I don´t know, how such objects would work in reference to trailing, considering also that to many objects or an extended dashboard would clutter a chart, especially by trading multiple orders in a pair? Therefore, I would propose to switch the dashboard display on and off. BTW @Milanese: What do you mean of using different instances? Several charts of the same pair or additional accounts? I know, that every EA will run only one time on a chart. To attach the same EA a second one or more often, we will need to open a further chart. That is my understanding for instances. In reference to the AllPairTradeManager, I could not yet test, still out of order with my demo-accounts. As far as I know, we can use more than one EA in a chart, but I don´t know, what a coder have to consider to avoid conflicts and malfunctions between them interacting and if there are coding possibilities to transfer or receive signals by a second one? @Milanese did mentioned, that he use both TM´s, interacting each other. Theoretical example: The first EA will scan the pair for detecting signals, the second one than will receive a signal for opening and managing orders (with Risk- and Money-Management-Control) and the third will take over the orders controlled by a trailing feature. These thoughts might be contradictory in regard to an “all in one EA” and honestly spoken, due to missing coding knowledge, I cannot judge, which of the possibilities will provide advantages. Comments welcome. Have a nice weekend. Over60 |
