Both my demo's lost 0.5% of balance during the US session yesterday.

I wonder if anyone started their US session at 2 pm UK time yesterday and whether the outcome is any different.

I do prefer to start the US session at 2 pm uk time as many of the high impact news from the US occur at 1.30 pm, and by 2 pm, most people would have digested the news and trade accordingly.

Both my demos lost money during the US session yesterday.

The second demo has now lost 0.96% of a 10k account after two losing sessions including the asian session today.

Will post the result again over the weekend.

Hi Steve,
I am seriously testing this E an i intend to go live with it.
this is one the best EA you have coded so far,combining it wit a good trade manager.
i think you need to look at it again,this is the EA that has the greatest potential in this forum.
it did somthing this morning around 7am UK time,the error invali stops was continious until 8am before it stopped. And it no longer places the limit trades for the fade.
maybe it has to do with new build 711 from those Ediotic ASSHOLes.
Steve,please look at it.

After just over two days of testing on 10k demo trading 0.1 lot, the results are attached. 240 MA filter applied.

More testing is required to find the pairs to trade and the optimum settings.

For the coming week, I am starting a new 10k demo trading 0.1 lots, but have pared down the pairs to trade to eight. They are GU, EU, AU and NU, and their yen crosses.

I have also changed the trading time frame to H1, and changed the trading times to 7 am uk time (Frankfurt open) to 10 am, and again from 2 pm to 4 pm. I have completely omitted the Tokyo session because I do not think there is enough volatiltiy in general. Close all trades after three hours. Only trade the trend, and trend pending buffers = 5 pips.

SL=15,TP=15, breakeven at 5 pips, then trail stop = 5 pips. 240ma filter enabled.

The aim is to target 45 pips per day, then close shop using MPTM, just over 200 pips per trading week. If this is achievable on a consistent basis, then we have a viable strategy.

Will post the results next weekend.

Not a sausage on my demo so far !

Nothing in the journal or log to explain why either.

May be it is due to the new build of Empty4.
