Hi all

Attached is PipMasher the indicator.
Only works on D1 chart.
The yellow dots (default settings) indicate Friday No Trade day.
Arrow will appear on the signal candle if it is not Friday.

I loaded PPM on a lower TF setting to check the working.
I find that after the next candle after the pending, there is a new pending opened and then deleted.
The original pending is not moved to the new hi/low.
Is this correct?

Hi Gertje,

Looks like the pendings was valid in the first place and moved up correctly, but I dont know why they got deleted and you dont specify when they got deleted, was it instant or?.

Maybe Steve has some idea. Bear in mind, the EA is designed for M,W,D and hence there might still be a few bugs when experimenting on other time frames...

Hi PC,

The new pendings were deleted within a minute after opening.
My guess is the EA is supposed to delete the old one, but is deleting the new ones.

The pending trade moving code is faulty. I did mention this in post 1 - not that anyone seems to be arsed to read my post 1 these days. Not entirely sure why I don't just post; "Ehup dimwits. Here is a new toy. Work out what it does for yourselves." For sure, it would relieve me of a lot of the tedium that goes along with constructing the bloody things.

There are times when I deeply regret giving people the opportunity to play with settings and thus bugger things up in imaginative new ways.

This is a MN1/W1/D1 strategy. Don't expect it to work in any other way. You guys couldn't just try the damn strategy as Niels posited it could you? You never know; you might even get somewhere. The next version will have some fixes for the pending trade thingy problems. It will also have the ability to muck things up removed, so you guys will have the choice of: pending trades that move correctly or continuing to be pains in the arse and mucking things up. The choice will be yours. I won't care.

V 1k is in post 1, with the non-moving pending trades thingy fixed. The sl/tp will also be amended in line with the order open price.

Watch the tp/sl defaults as I have changed them in light of one of Niels' early posts - http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 41#p101441.

Time was we could load the source code into our editor, change the inputs and recompile, and the altered inputs would magically appear in all instances of the ea. Not any more, so the easiest way to make changes to your inputs in all instances is: load an instance onto a chart, make your changes to the inputs, then use 'Charts into Alphabetical Order script' to copy them to all your charts.

Niels doesn't want all the usual stuff on the charts. I do, so there is a new input at the bottom of the list - ShowAllFeedback. Set this to 'true' to display all the usual stuff.

One last update, for the time being. V 1l in post 1.

I have sorted out the expiry time thingy. PP calculates and displays the expiry time if FridayPendingExpiryHours > 0. It even amends a current pending if the expiry is wrong - as they all were.

I couldn't sleep and so came downstairs to do some sorting out. It has been productive. My brain will be a mush by midday, so expect even less intelligence than usual. :oops:

you still can: This will uniformly makes all charts/instances (with same EA) to have the same set of parameters/inputs:
1) exit Empty4
2) open EA with editor, removed frequently used "extern", change the input, compile.
3) start Empty4, input parameters disappear when click smiley(just those "extern" that were removed)
4) But All is good, those parameters are internalized.
5) Want to make input parameter appear again?(when click on smiley).
6) exit Empty4, retype "extern" back in editor, compile, and start Empty4.

Sorry to piss you off, I probably didn't understood the next part of post 1, which I ALWAYS read carefully;
•Longer, Medium, Trading are the time frames, defaulting to monthly, weekly and daily. You can play around with different tf's if you wish. I know that Niels is.
Thanks for the fix, will load immediately.
