I am using a US broker with a GMT+2 server and have tradinghours set to +0.10,-0.25. My pendings trades pop up right at 5:00 pm est vs the 5:10 that I would expect... any idea why this would be?

Pending trades are already at the broker and will be modified at rollover.
New orders won't be sent to the broker until after the time you have specified.

Personally I would prefer it if any modifications to pending orders don't occur until after the specified trading hours to avoid those humungous spreads at rollover (and thus getting taken in on a trade which is a long way from market price and so an immediate loser) however I am not sure it can be coded that way.

Pipcruiser would be best to answer if it was indeed the intention for existing pending orders as well as new ones.

Those are existing trades that have moved to follow daily candles moving in the wrong direction. I have euraud sell pendings that were first sent on Wednesday. The market has risen and the trades move to follow the candles at the open of the new D1 candle.

I'm getting a lot of "OP_SELLSTOP order send failed with error(130): invalid stops" in the strategy tester and I can't figure out why. I'm using the original EA and I have tried 3 different Empty4 platforms. From what I can tell it doesn't happen live that I know of.

If anyone knows why this is happening or better how to stop it happening that be much appreciated.

I know the strategy tester is generally useless for testing EAs but I would still like to fix this issue if possible.

I have just tried different spreads in that drop down menu - same result.

However I acted on your advice and it does work without issue, so yeah 10 bucks is yours.

Folks, Angat just told me off by pm, so I have deleted the offending post.

I just loaded any old ea onto the EU on my GP demo. Average spread = 0.4. Current spread (weekend) = 14.8

MultiplierToDetectStopHunt is my default 10. Once the stop is >= 4, an ea with this feature will not work. Anyone running crapergy tester at the weekend needs to remember to use the in-house spread selection feature, or you could spend hours hunting down a non-existent bug in their code.

errorcode 1 you can ignore it is no error, happens often with the crappy-backtester, this error appears if the new SL is same as the old one so no change could be made..
Remember backtesting with Empty4 is wasting time, nothing else... the backtester is coded in way that it will never simulate real trading or give a near simulation...
