If you have a 2% SL expect it to hit often. If ten pairs trigger that means that you are giving each pair 0.2% of breathing space.. Not much and it will hit often and far more often than your TP so do not be surprised when your Demo (hopefully it's a demo) heads south at a rate of knots...
Its a demo. As I said in another thread, I start trading during Asian session when currencies are ranging and fading the trend. Action start picking up at euro session when currencies are going towards the daily open which is basically towards the trend. Then i close before NY session. Since trades fill up around euro session, most of them are in profit. I watch the prices the whole time because I live in Tokyo plus I have equity recorder in place. What I have observed so far is that equity is bouyed to profit at the euro sessions. Tokyo session is useful to catch pullbacks. This is the behavior I observed in the original PPOS 4H. Im now testing if behavior is still in the new one thats why im doing this.

Fair enough but given that this is a demo try giving it a bit more room to breath and note the drawdown for future reference, then you will get a good idea of what drawdown you need against how many wins you get.

But nice to see you not just placing in on a chart and forgetting about it and you are actually thinking about how to use it.. Kudos.. :clap: Keep us updated as to how you are getting on..

This system is murdering! Two 3% basket closures in the first 12 hours of running this thing... also had four 1% basket closures on M15! amazing work.

I am impressed by ZP's performance this week. Using mptm to close out at 1% of balance, the demo is up 7% so far this week.

Re Zennor's post below the balance on Monday was 347 and is now 447 having just closed 3% basket. DD today has been as high as 92 before pulling back to close. So the main trade at 0.02 is around 0.05/1k, the multi at 0.01 is 0.03'ish/1k with compounding.....3% then is about the designed level of 0.01/1k and 1%. DD is threefold.

I am pleased to see so many people getting positive results and ideas to improve the system such as the Stochastic addition, whilst it is not something I would personally use I am sure many of you will as I am sure there are features on the EA that I implemented that some of you will not use. Horses for courses..

Now it is possible that some of you may be scratching your heads wondering why you are not seeing similar results and it may be possibly due to your demo account size.

The OOTB settings on the EA were set up for a £1000 size account. This should have been mentioned in post 1 and I apologize for not doing so.

So if you placed the OOTB EA on a £5000 demo account chasing a 1% - 3% percentage gain your lot sizes are woefully too small for quick entries and exits and whilst this is great for those of you adverse to seeing draw down conversely your profits will also be effected.

To that end may I request those you posting results on OOTB settings or your own .SET files to also mention on what size account so that those wishing to emulate your results can set the EA up appropriately. Obviously if this EA ever makes it past the testing stage to live accounts you may wish to keep that private but for demo accounts this should not be an issue.

The results this week have been fairly good in a market where volatility is beginning to slow a bit. With May fast approaching and is historically a slow period it should be interesting to observe how the EA performs over this period. I will personally make a decision at the end of May as to whether or not the EA goes onto a live account or not.

Just noticed the multitrades are fixed pip sizes, with no option to override these with an account percentage. Would it be possible to add this feature please?
