Thanks for the insights mackaozy!

You mean in post 1, as in "defaults"??

About the DD, how to you act on a certain pair that may be opened with several trades and no sign of getting back into blue? Would you consider or do anything to close manually? or just let the EA do its thing?

I'm not sure what's the criteria the EA uses to say "ok, enough, let's take a hit" so this is why I'm asking

Yep as default. I haven't closed any trades manually. I will just test it on auto and see how it behaves. It's a grid ea so the idea is to average back into the trade and close off the basket with a profit. I think he has set a hard stop of 500 pips.

Hi AnotherBrian,

My apologies - I didn't realise that I hadn't set the permissions properly on the demo. Will fix it up when I am at home this evening.

I'm trading 0.1 lots on a $10K account, which is equivalent to JL's initial recommendations (ie: 0.01 lots per $1000).
