Stevo, Grand Poobah, I actually have VISUAL PROOF that there is a Polar Ice Cap equivalent to Hell. The Ruler of this Region is addressed as "The Donald" and may take over the entire United States. I am grateful that I am not far from the Canadian Border as I have a means of escape! :shock:

Steve,

I think it might be beneficial if GW has an TP-entry-funtion.
Is it just blocked in the code, since you're using your shell?

After burning an account with GW I've been watching HGBnG trading and turned of the 'close-at-semafoor' option. Using a 5 step grid with 10pip difference and 10pip TP, it's hardly possible to have a leaky toilet trade when the hedging works the same as in HGBnG.

At the most, 2 trades are open in one direction. Markets turns and triggers some opposite trades. Hedging is being effected, and all TP are deleted.
Either market goes all the way against the original position, triggering 5 countertrades, and reaching the 30 pip goal set in the hedging inputs or markets goes the original direction again, triggering the remaining pendings and closes the whole again at 30pip TP.

I'm demoing this using the HGBnG EA now, will report back with results next week.

There is no tp enabled in GW because it was not necessary for the fun I was providing. You have the knowledge to hard code your own tp's, so well done you.

For the hoi polloi, I shall present a version of GW coded as you propose.

Ye Gods, it has been a piss artist of a day. It turned out that adapting Gerteje's suggestion involved a tad more than merely activating a take profit.

Never mind. Thanks to him, it looks as though GW might have a future as something more than a plaything. We can only trial it and find out.
