This is great logic or is it even a logic? :good: , hats off :hi: .

It's defiantly makes pips no doubt about that Make $400 in 24 hrs with DD $700 using OOTB.

Question: will the ea pause on when UPL=0 or do we do it manually? :roll:

First of all, I would like to thank Rene for sharing the EA with us. I have a few ideas that I would like to share.

1. Maximum spread checking, it can prevent the EA to open an order during news time

2. Cash per dollar(auto lot size based on the equity size)

3. Close all orders after +- X% of the equity be reached

4. The EA could be opening the trades following the daily flow. Example: if the pair(D1 candle) is going up, when the price goes down, it will buy it, I know it is not a guarantee, but it may help to reduce the DD, and also make more pips fast

Fantastic job you have done here with GM.

I've been running this bot for the last few days and can't help wondering if it might be better on individual pairs instead of a basket this way we could set our profit targets lower and rinse repeat more often.

Will test and get back

Hi rene,
some bug happened on my account few moments ago. I had a Dancer on EURUSD, by mistake i closed a eurusd chart, and after that i placed it again with a a dancer on default settings as used previous.
Immediately dancer started to open new positions on every tick- 34 positions. The settings are default, as on previous chart with same magic number on Grid Maste/Grid Dancer.

Do you have any idea what happen so i could avoid this happening again?

Hi Rene,

Absolutely great concept and have loved watching the Grid Yoda and Grid Troopers :yahoo: doing their business.

Like you I saw a rather juicy draw down and enjoyed watching the EA did itself out of it's hole albeit for a smallish loss.

But I can't help thinking that the dancers could do with some directional help to place the trades and I've been monitoring a 15 minute time frame with something simple like the Heiken Ashi and have noticed that a lot of draw down would have been avoided had the dancers changed direction when the Heiken changed.

I tried to replicate your problem: Removed GridDancer EA, closed the chart, re-created the chart and re-installed the GridDancer with the same parameters. In my case, no new trades were opened. It did list in the Experts-tab the trades for the pair in question that are currently open. Not sure what is going on, on your side.

Great ideas and these are all easily added to the code.

Not sure about adding a directional bias: this might break the profitability of the strategy. But we can always try...

Rene maybe this can help you out. To be more precise, i wanted to put a new pair on my Empty4, but by mistake i put on EURUSD. And then this mess started.
