On SQ the zones move based on the setting for bars used to calculate the grid.

Look at my post and see I suggest using the outmost levels as (mental) stop losses for trades that have been triggered by your EMA moving above or below the 2nd level in the grid - which equates to the outmost level in the original grid.

Thanks for the reply Wavegarrick, much appreciated.

I have looked at all of Charles's examples and in all of them the price is above or below the blue line. Are you saying that doesn't matter, as long as I take the trade after the 8ma crosses the yellow line (and the other rules are met).

In post #1 Charles says an A++ signal is when the 8ma is above the top blue line or below the botton blue line. But the 8ma or the price never reaches the blue line on my system.

Here's a copy of AUDUSD H4 on my system which is different to gigikitajaya's above. On my system the price is above the blue line.

Below is EURGBP H4. I have been watching it and everytime price gets close to the blue line, the blue line moves lower. This happens on all charts.

I have the SIXTHS SQ_mod set to 150. What am I missing here? I thought it might have something to do with the zooming but zooming in and out doesn't change it. And I haven't zoomed at all on EURGBP and yet the blue line moves.
Don't be confused and you have not done something stupid, in the modified indicator the GOLDEN LINES is the same as the BLUE LINES that was used in the pdf that explains the system. I think it should be corrected on the first post.
It should read;[ A ++ Signal is when the 8ma is above the top GOLDEN line or below the bottom GOLDEN line] using the SIXTHS SQ mod

I stand to be corrected.

You could also toggle to a Line Chart to confirm your entry plus this will show the "cross" of the 8ema

I was also somewhat confused with the extra line on squalou's version and how it played into things. Now I know!

BTW I am using renes HGI Matrix to keep track of signals which helps get to a chart quickly to check out the situation. Just an idea.
