Hmmmmm. This miserable excrescence of a setfile has netted me a mere 84 pips since my last post. Pathetic. TJF is headed back to the ranks of the hoi polloi.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

All these closed trades tonight were left open at close of business on Friday and were opened originally because my anti-bunching code was crap.

Now that a lot of them are closed, there are large gaps left in between trades because the market is outside of my chosen trading hours. It is an easy code amendment to allow the bot to trade in down hours if there are already trades open when the clock enters a down time.

I shall watch this and see what happens. The huge advantage of my gung-ho attitude to loading EA's onto my live trading account is that they then command my attention.

Hi, I have an idea, maybe not valid but I think it's worth a try.
for entries, if last candle has an HGI buy signal (trend or blue wavy or others by choice), we place only buy stop above last candle and vice versa for sell entries.
and of course close them all by higher timeframe HGI counter signals.
I'm not sure it's appropriate to post request like this, if not please just delete this post.

Here's mine on GJ since Thursday with the 200pip SL:

It's doing very well and everytime it gets some SL hits recovers stronger. What I have noticed is that when a big position is building after a directional move if it gets to some SL on one side before recovering then those SL will be the catalyst for recovery because once a few are hit the total position becomes unbalanced enough for a basket close in profit and it doesn't take long to recoup the loss.

Without the SL I think there will be much longer periods of drawdown and a much bigger account size will be needed to survive which makes it less efficient.

I noticed there are a bucket tonne of trade context busy/trading disabled alerts. This is in no small part due to the fact I'm running the full gamut of standard symbols.

I haven't looked to see how this is handled in the code but maybe a queue of global vars/semafor need to be put in place(?)
