It looks like you are already aware, but there are some issues with the new version. I tested it last night, and here is my experience in case it helps.

I installed the new ditto.exe and refreshed my Empty4 platform. Then I reset my grid trading EA. I returned to my terminal 12 hours later to see that ditto link was shut down, probably due to the repeat FIFO error messages. The EURUSD pair opened 5 short positions at the same lot size. The grid EA closed positions on the retracements, but the positions were not FIFO compliant. The "Increase each trade by one unit (US FIFO)" was set to "True," but Ditto did not increase the lot size on any of the EURUSD positions that were subsequently opened.

I believe that I have fixed the calculation once and for all and have uploaded a new version. The Oanda API names trades with an underscore between currencies while Empty4 does not. I forgot to account for this when calculating lot sizes. Please test and let me know.

It seems to be working very good now and improved.

I may have done something out of order with the EA, but I noticed my EA was set to open 0.05 lot sizes and ditto set at 10%. It continued opening 400 units, which were positions still on Empty4 that were previously opened by the EA. I think that I changed the magic number when I reset the EA. I manually closed those positions in fxTrade (4-5 UJ buy positions).

Then I restarted my EA in Empty4 with 0.05 lot sizes and Ditto still set to open trades in fxTrade at 10%. I thought (incorrectly) that Ditto may close the positions to match fxTrade. Duh (long day, I'm tired, and my brain synapses are misfiring). Anyhow, Ditto opened several positions to match Empty4, which is probably the correct logic. It opened them in sequential order 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, and 405. YESSSS!!! That part now works! LDH5 (Long Distance High Five)!

The only thing is that the EA opened a new 0.05 lot position, so I was expecting Ditto to open up a 500 lot position. Actually, there was already a 0.05 lot opened in Empty4 from the previous EA session, so the lot should have been 501. Regardless, I'm still very pleased with the update!





Next Day Edit: I closed all of the USDJPY positions in Empty4. The EA is still running and one position is opened and being managed by it. The Ditto Dashboard is still showing 6 USDJPY positions even though there is only one each in my Empty4 and fxTrade account. The Magic Number of Ditto.exe is set to "0."

Overall, spectacular results, but I had one strange setup as well.

Dittolink or the Ditto EA stopped working overnight on my main account (it doesn't seem like it could have anything to do with running 10 Empty4 platforms and 5 dittolinks at once on one workstation but I suppose you never know.

The regular EA's were running just fine on the main account, so they opened four buy trades on AUDUSD while Ditto wasn't working. Because this was a new EA I was working on and somebody made a boo boo on just one teensy-weensy line of code, instead of lot sizes of .01, the lot sizes were opened as .01, .02, .04 and .08 (it was supposed to be matching the total sell lot size in determining the buy lot size, but instead kept matching the total buy lot size, in effect doubling with each trade - yikes!).

So I restarted the Empty4 platform and restarted dittolink. It immediately opened four new AUDUSD trades to match the new trades on the Empty4 platform. My ditto percent was 10%, but all four trades were opened at the 100 series instead of 100, 200, 400 and 800.

Wild stab in the dark - I'm wondering if multiple trades get opened by dittolink in one shot, if only the lot size of the first one is used - in my case this would have been a 100 series trade, rather than the individual lot sizes of each trade.

I tried opening another trade manually at .02 after that, and it correctly assigned it the next number in the 200 series.
