Not all indicators have to be in the same direction. Search for the word "threshold". Or do you want one specific indicator to be contrary? Then invert the signal using UBD. But I will probably add an input "SignalsToInvertList" to TDesk. I was thinking about this earlier. Thomas |

Update.... I reversed the signals with the UBD indikator. It was easier than i thought and it is really an advantage that the created indikator is multi pair and we do not need to have all charts open. But the reversed signals are not allways showing the oposide compared to the standart signals. I guess that it has to do with the trashhold values in superslope. Thomas |

If you interchange the complete LONG and SHORT condition, it MUST be the opposite. If you change only LESS to GREATER and vice versa in the two conditions, you might get different results. I moved the posts to this topic. Cheers Thomas |

Hi @all. New version 1.5 of Universal Buffers Drone (UBD) is in post 2. Please read the update notes thoroughly. There is also a new version of the "TDesk UBD Builtin Indicators" plugin in the same post. Ben has very much contributed to this. Ben has also posted some examples of UBD settings for built-in indicators and their integration with the plugin in post 6. Study his work to get a better understanding of the correlations. Thank you, Ben. Your contributions are highly appreciated. Cheers Thomas |

Ben, I have another indicator with good rating but need to have BaludaSuperSlope and Stoch color mtf indicators as filters. Basically it is the cross-over of ROC's zero line for buy & sell. See the green vertical line for buy (must agree with BaludaSS and Stoch color mtf white line). Appreciate you can create Universal Drones for ROC mtf indi as well as Stoch color (mtf + alerts + arrows) indi. Setfile by bodavid/taipan added: |

Hi taipan, Let me know if these setfiles work for you. (The time frame for the indicators has to be set to current.) Cheers, Ben (Setfile moved to original post) |

Thanks Ben for the work. I will test it and report back later. It is too early to tell whether it works or not. |

| Post subject: | A UBD indy question |
Greetings I earlier posted a UBD set file for the TMA+CG mladin indicator breach trigger (page 2 this thread). I am currently using it manually trading on the Day TF with TDesk assistance and an eye to full automation. There is a description of this entry setup in the TDesk indicator playground thread (Page 21). I am wanting to create a modification of the breach signal to mirror how I am manually trading this indy with higher time frame RSI signals. I am trying to achieve a variation of the TMA band indicator indicator or UBD set file which will have the signal generated by the breach of the outer TMA band hold as a long or short signal for X candles of the trading timeframe following the breach, even when the value is no longer breaching the outer TMA band. At present, I am looking at X to = 5, but that is being testing in forward manual testing and ideally would be an adjustable parameter. I fully realize you guys are busy and you don’t want to bog the brilliant TDesk and UBD development with arcane indy variations thrown up by insane traders like myself, fair enough if this post falls in that category – BURN it. But the rub here is I would really appreciate some direction on how best to solve this signal question. Does it need a new buffer to be created in the TMA indy or is there some other simpler way? I am fine with UBD doing as I am told but mucking around coding indy buffers is best left to competent coders. There is a really significant point to all this. The TMA+CG mladen (week) breach shown on the day frame is a brilliant way to create ‘a trading context’, but on its own it can fire a lot of difficult trades as the PA sometimes continues to trend instead of reversing. What I have found is that when paired with the HTF support-resistance oscillators with the right settings the moment of reversal becomes reliably indicated. This is sometimes close to the breach, some breaches are no trade and some are triggered up to 5 candles further on from the breach using the RSI Cross TD V2 higher time frame combo. In a few weeks time, I am planning to share the forward trading results and if there is interest in the details, development etc. of this strategy. I think the ‘trading context’ part of this setup has many other uses in other trading strategies, so of some of value to our members. Notes on Day TF Chart: light vertical dotted lines are typical trade entry points. The indies in the visual display (indicator window 1) are week RSI and week Sto7 and MA (10) of the Sto7 (ala Leon). The two week RSI Cross TD V2 indies in the lower bar histogram indies are there to signal. So for entry signal, there has to be a breach of the outer TMA band and within 5 candles both week TD RSI Cross V2's must signal in trade direction. The month RSI Cross TD V2 is on a fast setting and for this entry is a guide only. In this case it is also in agreement supporting the pictured three trade entries and a longer-term view of the 'trading context'. Thanks in advance for considering this…… Cheers Vince |
