With the daily pivot it's up to you. The 5.1 MA is good with just a touch.

It doesn't have to touch the pivot. We are looking for a retrace and then price stalling.

On Friday I showed the Retracement Setup and the Trigger Setup and then I launched a basket and walked away from it. Here's how it's doing so far:

That's 10/11 trades in the green. The point I want to make here is you could of traded each of these individually with the 10.2a rules but you'd have to micro manage the stop and limits for each one. Basket trading makes it so much easier to trade them all as one. Anyway it will be interesting to see what the Monday open does to it.

Nice Jem, I also took the same trade (after you posted it), but it got closed by the jumping stoploss at 75 pips, I think at one point it was at 180 pips. Still not bad :)

One possible idea for improvement: Maybe we can somehow remove highly correlated pairs from the basket (or even the slope indicator). This way we will have less pairs at a time, but perhaps we can increase our lot size in each. This way the movements may be more independent. Something to think about.

Hi Jem and others, my first post and am finding your strategy very interesting and potentially very lucrative. I have been studying the NB 10.2 for a few days now and have seen reference to NB 10.2 a but I don't know where to find it. If someone can direct me to it that would be great. I am in Sydney, I see there are a few aussies here. Thanks.

I also suggest that all who are following and who are also placing any trades, post them up too. The trend indicator may show 11 trades, but its up to the trader to decide what's to be inside the ShellyNow.. ;)

People wonder why I share my ideas instead of keeping them to myself. This is the reason why. Guys take ideas and add to them and suddenly I have to begin studying my own system to keep up them. Fantastic, now I will have to study to see if I can wrap my head around my own system and all the different ways it can be used. Excellent job and I appreciate all your contributions. I am going to have to get to some of these other threads. I just cant keep up with it all. Going to take a vacation in about 10 days and trying to get everything for my school open in the fall ready so I dont have it waiting for me when I get back.
