Things went downhill after my previous post on Tuesday.
The market continued to rise and then fall briefly enough to fill the next sell stop. Goldy obediently stopped sending sell stops once the max allowed hit 10. Buy stops kept on filling and hitting their TP so the account balance kept increasing whilst the equity kept falling.
The gap between the market and the sells was huge at one point. The market then did one of its massive flops and brought the buys and sells closer together.
By rollover time on Thursday night (UK time) there were: 7 open buys; 10 open sells; DD just shy of $7,900; equity just shy of $15,600; margin level 526%.
There were no quotes sent on Friday - Easter related I assume, so there will probably be none tomorrow either as it is Easter Monday.
On limited evidence, it looks as though the max trades per pair thingy is doing its job. The account might not have blown without it but it would have been a close run thing. It will be interesting to see what happens on Tuesday.
