CriminalHasSundayCandle = true
SlopeTimeFrame = 240
SlopeBuyLevel = 0.6
SlopeSellLevel = -0.6
PivotCrossTimeFrame = 60

4th Group set:
CriminalHasSundayCandle = true
SlopeTimeFrame = 240
SlopeBuyLevel = 0.45
SlopeSellLevel = -0.45
PivotCrossTimeFrame = 60

5th to 8th Group set:
the same as above but with
CriminalHasSundayCandle = false

Of course there may be other checking-worthy combination too.
This was just an attempt to make our job a bit easy and structured.
If you find this reasonable then let's split up and try.

What did I miss? I see the settings in the EA have SlopeTimeFrame as 1440 - this is Daily, I understand that.

But for PivotCrossTimeFrame the setting is 240 - this is 4 Hour pivot? I thought the trigger was to enter once price crossed the Daily Pivot.

Also, in last few post about testing this EA, they mention changing this setting to 60, what did I miss about the entry trigger?

Maybe I need to go back to 10.2 for Dummies, let me know :oops:

John you can make the settings whatever you want. People will be trying out different settings to see what works the best.

In regards to pivotcrosstimeframe: it is still a close over/under the daily pivot. This setting is if you want to use the close of a 1h, 4h or whatever bar. A 1h bar might get you in sooner, a 4h bar may be safer. Experiment. The rules I made are my rules and I encourage everyone to tweak!!

Jemook, thanks for quick reply - OK, close below, I was understanding that the PIVOT price itself was the Entry price, as long as the daily pivot is still the daily pivot on every time frame... :shock: I will make my own rules for sure.

Now I have another problem, not sure if this started when I tried changing that setting to 1440 or if something else set it off, but the EA is sending alerts saying it is entering trades every second?

I had it running on a separate chart, not used for trading, and not in the list - USDZAR - but no matter which pair I use now, it keeps sending the Message Alerts ???

I would like to thank Bob, Steve, Jemook, Shelley, and others on here for a great basket system made into an EA. It opened one trade and closed out with a profit, but there's an error in the expert tab. Can someone tell me how to resolve this error? Thanks.

dont know if its just me, but bot does not wait for "min percentage required" thingy- no matter what the value.
it opens trade as soon as possibility arises not waiting for basket to form :/

Set "AllowAdditionsToBasket" to false, I read this in the code,

Converts MinimumPercentOfBasket to zero if AllowAdditionsToBasket is true.

this is driving me crazy, I put Sunday candle to TRUE, even though it is not and it was OK for hours, then I changed time frames and off it goes again, can't seem to stop it now, even restart and use original settings doesn't help - would another EA cause this type of conflict perhaps?

I cannot get this ea to 'refresh' automatically, I have to switch timeframes regularly to force it to re-read all the pairs.
Is there a setting one can change that will force it to re-read automatically?
