Hey Guys

Here's a couple more trades I am in at the moment. Had one earlier on the GCF that I had to bail on with loss 10 pips or so

My EU trade earlier I grabbed 20 pips or so, closed half, but then re-tracted and took me out. I am back in on another signal a couple hours later. I love making the same pips twice.
We'll see how it goes.

Had a loser yesterday on the NU. This one went on for about 12 hours. Should have closed it early because by the time it went bad on me, I no longer had much to do with the 10.2 system

We'll see how these go. I am concentrating on the H4 Slope number. don't really know what I am looking at on the current slope reading.

Both these trades went immediatly the wrong way, Closed them with about minus 4 pips each when they got back close to breakeven. US stock market opened during this time. Should not have put this trade in so close to NY open, i guess.

Steve and others,

Guys I hope you can help me. After I have run the loadHistory-1 Script to my chart, I still encounter alert message "this chart has less that 100 bars". I also did manually and refresh it but it still the alert kept coming. By the way this is a demo account.

I intended replacing the offending code with George's developed in the Gday thread - just forgot. I will do this in the next update.

In the meantime, V 1d is in post 1, with the code removed for anyone else being driven nuts by this.

I set GYH to 24H trading, so with the open of the new D1 candle (Cowboy IBFX Aussie) it fired off enough trades to make the margin filter kick in to prevent any more.

Straight away I noticed two thingies:
  • I have left GYH's Breakeven feature turned on. If you are using Bob's 100 tp 20 sl and the 10.3 manager to manage the trades, then this needs turning off.
  • by default, the manager has a magic number but GYH does not, so the manager did not recognise the trades and did not manage those that instantly shot into profit. Set the manager's magic number to zero
All this happened on my trading machine. I am going through to the coding machine in our living room to update the defaults. Back in a few minutes.

Ok, so the latest updates are in post 1. GYH V 1d has Breakeven turned off. The Jump EA has its magic number changed to 0. There is a magic number display on screen to confirm that you have the correct version. In coming days, I will make the chart display a tad more helpful.

Unless you are as thick as I am and are too dense to look at the ea inputs list properly, and to check that the Jump ea actually can manage the open trades, then you do not need the updates.

If you are as dense as me then bad luck. You need the updates.

You would be the nicest person on this forum if you could remove the "space" in the "Gimme Your HairX.mq4" file :mrgreen:
It took me a few minutes to understand why I was stuck with 1b instead of 1d in Empty4 :lol:

Hehe. I keep on meaning to do that.

Trouble is, you know what will happen. The savvy ones who shut down their platforms before downloading, then download and restart the platform so they do not have to reload all their set files, will discover the download hasn't worked because the new version actually has a different name, and they have to set up their 35 charts again.

After they have spent 3 days wondering why the new version does not do what I said it would do.

Not that it matters. Early days yet, because Bob's ideas are still evolving rapidly, but this one is crying out for a multi-pair ea combined with JUMP.

Let's allow thingies to settle down for a bit first?
