your Gfay_RevisedV_P10 performance seems better than Gday !

I use the EA posted here, by Steve, on page 10 (with "chillout Shelley" and FullyAutomatic options).

But don't mis-interpret the results. I started it before Christmas (great results), and stopped it for 2.5 weeks (I was away). I just re-opened the Empty4 session 2 days ago (not well performing since then).
Have a look to the recent trades on my fxbook.

I need to set up a new Empty4 demo to install the latest version.

My results aren't good the last couple of weeks either, although like you demo is still up overall.
There is just not enough momentum in the market just yet for this strategy, I'll be starting a fresh demo from next Monday, so will see what happens then.

Hmmmm. Looks like the bot's logic needs a bit of tlc.

Just took an audcad sell when the escape from ob is distinctly weak. Needs some sort of angle of escape calculation. Khalid suggested one for my Aussiedoc's Ducks ea: take a simple moving average of x stoch readings, then if the current one is y points divergence the trade is on. I will look at this tomorrow.

Also took an eurgbp buy. Yes, stoch has escaped oversold, but is nearly in overbought right now, and the bot only took the trade an hour ago. No idea what caused that.

Food for thought.

Shelley, how are you getting on using the bot in semi-auto mode?

Generally speaking since Christmas there has been very few trades that I wanted to take...

Semi auto is still up overall (+814) but I have had 4 losses since Christmas (all of these trades closed at the cross of the stoch so never looked like going anywhere near full SL and so quite manageable). Looking back these signals were all valid, trades started off in the right direction but just did not have enough momentum to get the move to BE.

There were a number of trades the Full Auto version took which I did not take due to the flatness of the stoch signal as you mention above and I was not as vigilent at looking for trades as I would normally have been as I did enjoy the odd sleep in or two :shock: during my holidays and I didn't get to the charts on time. Actually, I think that perhaps a couple of the trades that did go for a loss I may have attached the ea later in the day, (which is against my personal trading rules :o ) but I did this more to get an idea on how the ChillOut version worked ;)

I attached Gday to eurgbp today and this trade is currently looking good at +22. I think we will start to see momentum pick up from next week as most people are back at work and trading again after the holidays.

IMHO Gday Semi Auto is working exactly as I envisaged and I will be actively looking for trades each day starting next week.

I have also set up an account at fxjunction so trades can be tracked, this will include from before Christmas. At the moment eurgbp is open as mentioned above, there is also an nzdusd which I opened manually (so please ignore this trade as it wasn't taken by the rules) that is well into drawdown, but I'm just going to let it run for now and see if it comes back.

For the full auto version, I agree that we may need to make a modification to the entry to eliminate the borderline trades (ie either just barely into 80/20 or a flat stoch).

That's nothing I got almost 8900 opened ... all on EURJPY, starting midnight : bam one after the other !

So weird !!! scares me .. BUT that's not finished, I had a second bug on another demo account : an EA managed to open positions at 1.0000 for 2 pairs (look at the last 2 lines) :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Nobody told me we could manipulate the prices as we want !!!!!! trading's going to be much more easier now !!!
