I have been absent here for a while. I have a few new health issues I need to resolve. One being I must take better care of myself getting exercise and loss of some weight. That will help solve one of those issues. The rest is up to my doctors. I also have a home I am working to remodel. Right now that must take precedent over time spent in front of a computer and trading. I will look in every once in a while to see if there are any questions. However between videos and the manual I hope most can find a way forward plus you have all of Bobs threads on 10.7 and beyond to reference. Years ago someone said on Forex Factory for profitable systems please see Bobs threads. I say the same again here now at Steve Hopwood's Forex Trading Forum. You will find an answer to profitable trading if you not only study Bobs systems but if you study how Bob layers his trades and takes profits over time. Right now what is imperative in my life is improving my well being and health by way of Exercise and Strength training as well as Meditation. I have health issues I can not change but I can change my sense of well being with a minimal amount of physical conditioning and with a minimal amount of mental conditioning that will make a more than a significant difference in my own ongoing sense of Well Being and Health. My home will require some work also and in time I will get back to trading. When ... Not sure. Always Reading though. Cheers, Doug |

I lost my mother to Alzheimer's disease after a 5 year battle last week. My mother grew up on a farm with out electric until she was in high school during the US depression of the 1930's 1940's and the second World War. There are not many who remember those times but my child hood was filled with the stories of the Great Depression and the Farm she grew up on. This was before TV and they had just Radio and President Roosevelt. She was a national 4H winner and won a scholarship to college. She was a teacher. That is who I remember. She had a love for God and she became a Christian by reading the Bible. This person faded away over the last 5 years. The conversation my sister and I had with her ended long before death took her. We must find a cure for this disease. It is cruel. I will be back in a few months or at the latest fall to pursue trading again but for now I am reading, decompressing, working to restore my house which is my home place with some interior paint and trying to loose some weight with exercise so I can manage my diabetes better. Best yet I am taking time to listen to some of the great music of the masters. This includes American Jazz as well as classical music and modern masters like Philip Glass. I am also a huge fan of the American TV singing competitions The Voice and American Idol. So I keep busy. I will be on here reading others threads to see what every one has been up to from time to time. But It is Spring and I need to drink in the sun and the flowers and the birds that my mother so loved. Thanks to all who have read the thread and to Steve who makes this place possible. Cheers, Doug |
