Hi folks ! :hi: So what happened this week on “TGT_FX” ? In general I’m tweaking first and foremost the EA “Pipcruiser’s Pipmasher” in the original PP + the newer PPoS versions. So I have in that “TGT_FX” MFXBook account some platforms with this bot and different setfiles. The oldest MFXB account is the GP 14 (GP stands for the broker Global Prime) – this account is untouched, doing pretty good without any changed bot version or setfile since april ! Other platforms with PP/PPoS tests: GP 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36 use some setfiles close to GP 14, but they aren’t running long enough. Let’s see what they’ll bring. (Additionally I’m tweaking this PP at 6 other platforms – not shown here, in summary all these testings give so far quite reasonable results, looking much promising). The Zennor’s Piproid at GP 3 + 9 both use Tommaso’s order manager EA “sAPBM” with tight TP and SL for the baskets – and it seems this isn’t a good idea, bcz the results are not promising. Plus in the setting parameters 8 multitrades are allowed. Have to change something definitely. (Have the ZP v 1b on two other platforms – GP 2+3 – see the MFXB-account “MANDL2007” – the chosen ZP-settings show better results: no multitrades, limited trading hours, MPTM without basket SL). So, what about the FirstStrike ? GP 19 + 20 show me, that’s not a good approach to use the sAPBM with tight TP and SL again. I would use perhaps only one basket a week, or max. 2 baskets a week. Cannot make a conclusion about the test results of 3 bots Jose coded: WITEA ON MARS v5, WITEA ON MARS VPS and SFF VPS. ATM they all aren’t looking really good, but their trades are in fact very very long lasting ! The same conclusions are valid for the other two SFF tests shown in the 2-nd MFXB account MANDL2007.  |

Hey AGT thanks for the update, I notice you use a custom start date on GP14, in April (where your custom date begins) the account picked up momentum and has been very successful since then. I'm curious did the market conditions change creating a better environment for the EA or were the settings changed at this time? |

Yes - the bot version + the settings sincr apr 2015 are fix. You are right - the bot's history is shown now only for a limited time period. The reason for that is simple: from dec to apr a lot of different EA modifications (only PP/PPoS !) have been tested on this platform. Plus I changed the setfiles from to time - so it makes no sence to have a look at hte results of that time .... its impossible to compare these old features. You may look the tab "General" in the MFXB data sheet - at time I'm making there some short comments about recent changes. :hi: |

Hello AGT, I join the ask of Forexnnov, can you please share your setfiles for the PPOS and for the MPTM ? Because if i'm not wrong, i understand you put a MPTM on a chart and set a basket close to 10 %. With the setfiles we'll try to reproduce your results. Thanks a lot ! |

Hi all, I have a couple of questions for AGT regarding the PipCruiser EAs. I've been testing for the last 4-5 months the original PC D1 and later the Zennor PC version and now I'm going to start some tests with PPoS version. One of my observations about the original PC is that it seems to work best the first 2 weeks of each month. Did you observed something similar with PPoS? And in that case, are you taking any measure like disabling the EA or something like that? Regards and thanks for all! Adrian |

Hmm .... good to hear about such an observation !! However I didn't pay enough attention to this behaviour of the bot. So it's up to you to post about this importent issue ! So far I never (or very very rearly only ....) interfered manually. The only additional order management I use all the time is the MPTM (Steve) or the sAPBM (Tommaso). May be, you could test this "first 2weeks only trading" of the bot ? :hi: |

I'm currently using this approach with the original version. I'll test it also in the PPoS version and post my conclusions when I have enough data. We'll see!!  Regards! |
