Post subject:  HGI for beginners.
Hello,
I'm attempting to use HGB 'n Piproid but I can't find HGB HGI_v16.05 when I load HGI_v16.04.ex4 an alert message appears telling em that there is no HGI_v16.04.ex4 on my computer which is false.

also when I load HolyGrailBob.mq4 from this thread http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 61#p116761
on the experts tab I have constant messages like the image posted.

any help would be appreciated.

version 16.05 is not published, make sure that you use exat the HGI-filename in the EA input that your actual version of HGI has, note HGI_14.02 is outdated and will not work anylonger...

Hi,

I'm used to Empty4- been trading for about 7 years now with the rubbish!

I can't seem to get the HGI to load on the charts? I have loaded Empty4 and placed HGI into the indicators folder along with the others in the HGI Basics? When I drag into chart from Navigator, nothing happens. I don't have any arrows etc?!

I was a student of the 10.# series so I know about slope etc - do I need to load these onto the chart or are these included in HGI Indy?

I'm using FXPRO and mql.5 - so I take it the indy still works with latest build that they made me download?

Any help appreciated.

Also when I run the Open Charts in Alphabetical order script, it starts opening the charts and then just closes Empty4 every time??

this script will not work with the latest Empty4 builds..

the indicator is concepted for Empty4 builds higher 745.. as no one else has your problems you must be doing something wrong.. HGI needs no other indicators/files...

All sorted.

I was opening in metaeditor to save the file in the data folder - and it was creating MQ4 instead of ex4 file!

Downloaded and dragged into folder - all working now. Thanks for the patience! :clap:

I understand the wave signal are given by the TMA slope, but it seems that different threshold are being used. I believe it's either 0.2, 0.4 or 0.8. How is the threshold selected?
