It is not looking promising at the mo, but I am going to leave it running overnight and see what happens. If still not good in the morning, I will gradually increase the Strength level for signal input, in increments of 25.

Here is the updated version of 9ofX EA and indicator. The EA will work with any timeframe now. It's also using Steve's strategy. I will add SL and TP in the next release.

Edit: Latest versions are in post one.

EDIT: You may want to increase the TradeOpenStrength from the default (1) to a higher number.

Did a few tests with the top 5 currency pairs but the results are not good. Here are my tests and findings:

Test 1:
Strength: >0 Buy / <0 Sell
TP:20 SL:10
Result: more than 95% losing trades.

Test 2:
Strength: >25 Buy / <-25 Sell
TP:10 SL:10
Result: more than 95% losing trades.

Test 3:
Strength: >50 Buy / <-50 Sell
TP:10 SL:10
Result: more than 95% losing trades.

Test 4:
Strength: >0 Buy / <0 Sell
Additional indicator: MTD TDI V2.4 TD V2 (TDI-Turning Point ON only)
TP:10 SL:10
Result: more than 95% losing trades.

Test 5:

Here is demo I am running with this indi.

9ofX trigger level: 200
SS difference threshold: 1

I tried several combinations on M1 to get a feel. The current set is holding ground for now.

The only thing I am unable to do yet is to get Desky to close the trades using the Veto signal only.

That would help to test several indicators that could be used to define the trend.

Test verdict:
Test 6:
Strength: >75 Buy / <-75 Sell
TP:10 SL:10
Result: 30% winners (Note: Not ALL winners hit TP, just that Desky closed it because of opp signal). Will proceed with Strength 125, let's try to get a better win ratio.
Total trades have taken: 140

Test 7:
Strength: >100 Buy / <-100 Sell
TP:10 SL:10
Result: 33% winners (Note: Not ALL winners hit TP, just that Desky closed it because of opp signal). Will proceed with Strength 150, let's try to get a better win ratio.
Total trades have taken: 127

Test 8:
Strength: >50 Buy / <50 Sell
Additional indicator: MTD TDI V2.4 TD V2 (TDI-Turning Point ON only)
TP:10 SL:10
Result: 16% winners (Note: Not ALL winners hit TP, just that Desky closed it because of opp signal). Will proceed with Strength 100, let's try to get a better win ratio. Will test till 200 if ratio still sucks, will abandon this.

Placed bishopdotun TDesk Scalp and the results look promissing.

Another demo which is +50 in profit for top 10 pairs in M1 is :

if you have consistent loosers maybe it could be worth trying desky's countertrend scalping ?

Just an idea...i think i will give it a try...
