Hans,

It would help if you could explain how you arrived at those numbers - hopefully not through backtesting ... :?

Just follow the movement on a 30min chart and you trade like a pro in two days time.
A bold claim. Very keen for examples.

Do you mean this post from slowkey?

http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 731#p18731

If so, I understand the exit part:
slowkey wrote:Stay in until you see the first hint of orchid on the 15 min
But not the entry:

Indempotent and swg123,

Sorry for not being clear, but what I would share was that trading with the basic principals of Nanningbob combined with this super indi NT-TMA-CSS-SP brings in such amazing monthly score.
I always had a problem to cut losers at a certain point but this indi tells you when to act. get out when the spaghetti starts to confluence.
Get ready to enter a trade when the diff line crosses the baseline. (0.00 )

My Nanningbob mindset tells me, trade small lots/ stoploss min. 100/ recover/ always watch tma daily / take profit when it still on the table near Supp. or Res.
Inclusive a few years FX experience and 3 live accounts blown up with give you a skeptic view on all those trade systems floating around.
I agree with the saying that most of the problems find there origin in between the keyboard and the chair.
So if that part of the system is at ease most trading systems will perform well.
O.K. here is a chart 30min euro
m7x27s.gif
Get ready to entry when diff crosses 0.00 line.
enter strait away during that candle ( 30 min ) if it continue in the right direction.
Follow the trade as you used to do manual or MPTM and pay attention when the spaghetti starts commin together again.
be aware of support and resistance take your money as it is still on the table.
For me this is lazy scalping on the 30 min.
Did only 7 trades last week instead of the 70 or more when I was trading noise

I know its only one month ,way to short to say something serious about an approach of the market .
but I will carry on with this NeoBob approach for an other month and keep you guys informed.

trade well and stay alive ( maybe better reverse the order )

hans..

N.B. the remark about this indi by Slowkey where quoted by Steve somewhere .

You need an image with .gif extension...
Then just upload it like any other file in the editor
Set your cursor to to where you want to place the image and use the place inline Button.

I already updated you post...hope you don't mind

happy weekend,

@hansnl,

you know ( and also can see ) that the Diff has the same curve as the standard TMA.
The TMA is only slightly off from the Diff. In your example (TF M30) it is off about 0.2 to 0.4 points (if I see it correct) which is about the same value when the TMA could/would go in a possible buy mode...

Just wanted to remember you of this fact...since the TMA is not that Resource Hungry as the TMA-CSS Indy you can use it much easier on multiple charts and/or TFs.

happy weekend,

Ha Ha, never saw that tab, I always did it the long way true tinypic to get a link back.
live can be easy if you know to hit the right button
fxtest.gif
and yes I can easily use the TMA , that wont make a difference in my KISS approach.
Trading 95% euro/usd there is no overload as long as I use a wooden worktop.

Thanks Neo,
hans..

Excellent indicator you have here. I will add it to my 10.2a and test it for a while. I find it interesting that the crosses are near where price crosses the weekly pivot. Thanks.
