nzd/usd has been on a slow UT for nearly a year now and still has 200 pips to go to hit its high from 2 years ago. Dont be surprised if it goes there.

Never, The best way to play this mother is like Bob said, Place Buy stops above the last high and put buy limits at the next pivot down. On these pairs I am doing something a little differant, I am putting buy limits at 100 pips down on all yen crosses along with the buy stops aabove the highs.

Great potential entry at DPP ... only about 13 pips away as I write ... The Spudfyre Stochastics are still off the table though, so the lower TF (maybe 15M) will be useful in spotting the turn.

Best to ignore all that, and just place pendings (Buy Stops) at DMR1 with buy limits at the DPP for extra pips. Not trying to reinvent the strategy - ignore the chart stuff.

Apologies for the clarity of the charts - will take screen grabs in future and save as .gif ... Empty4 won't allow saving as anything except .png

Important Aussie Employment data release in 15 minutes

* Employment Change - high impact
* Employment Rate - high impact

Currently we have seen price consolidate around 1.0540, so a dip to DPP just 20 pips south would be a great buy limit possie, and have buy stops at DR1 @ 1.0570

Just thoughts ... have I got this right?

EDIT: I am looking at 10.5 tpl

A pleasure Bob.

Unfortunately I do not know how to separate the Indie from the tpl ... so will post the tpl

It can easily be constructed by just adding each stochastic to the 5.3.3

ie

5.3.3 ... 6.3.3 ... 7.3.3 ..

Then the 14.3.3 is the biggie - when it crosses 23.6/76.4 ... as long as the rest of the stiochs are tight enough, you have a big move.

The higher stochastics go to 24.3.3

Let me know if it doesn't work, and I can upload again

EDIT: The 14.3.3 is thicker ... and yellow. Other colours are LightSeaGreen and DarkOrange

Probably getting off-topic here , but Spudfyre was/is a great contributor and sharing person on FF, and gave us this strategy in 2007 before dropping out of the scene for a year or two.

I have used it since then to great advantage.

XXXJPY being bought across the board today - now is the time to follow 10.4 closely and reap the benefits of this important retracement.

Meanwhile ... the AUDJPY has fallen 30+ pips (53 from my DMR1) since the release of the discouraging employment data here today.

Opportunity knocks loudly. Can you hear it?
