That curve is steep. I'm not known for caring much about the past... but I can still make my guts churn thinking about the first time I watched a huge position swing against me (long ago on the NAS).

One thing to be careful of in this thread is over-leverage. CJ skipped money management for the most part because he KNOWS that if we try to trade his very aggressive style... we will get wiped out. It works for him, because he is right A LOT. In addition his equity is spread out so that a series of mistakes in a single account or sequence will not remove him from the game.

If you want to go nuts, split 10% of your account out into a sub-account. And stack, gear deep, let the broker close your trades on that one... But protect your main account.

Very very few real traders can swing 20% in a day and survive long term. The margin for error, is so so thin. Even with a 70% hit rate... check the probability that you'll have a run of 5 losers. Variance is a cruel cruel mistress.

Good luck with the transitions. You are allowed to be patient and still alive when your great big opportunity presents itself.

Mike,

Hmmmmm, you are Right but then Again if One want's to make Money one has to take Reasonable Calculated Risks, not every FX Trader is Greedy, some just want Consistent Financial Growth over a Considerable Period of Time.
To learn to trade and Earn Coins like CJ takes Patience and Time but it can be done, Some Folks are already on the Game.....

Happy Trading Y'all.

xrismak ;)

Was this info leaked?

Chinese whispers?

I am expecting the down trend to continue after this move - we have probably just set the Asian session high. Could be wrong here, so tread carefully.

Today or tomorrow is probably going to work better for the GBPCAD trade you guys were talking about.

I guess I will just spam the forum right now....

EURAUD and AUDUSD seem to be setting up an M and a W respectively and opposite each other on D1. Might be a few hours to a day before they finish if they haven't already.

If that was pointed at me, I am quite confident in each of these trades I just was doing the due diligence on that GBPCAD of what reasons can I think of for my trade not being correct. Also I have typically been too early on all the W and M's I trade so I am trying out the discipline thing and waiting longer than I would have before. Also just started focusing a lot more on Money Management and waiting until later in the Asian session (my bedtime) in general. Hopefully that goes well for me...

Still, it is advice that I do hope to have the discipline to follow more often.

I takes GBPAUD short after London open 1 hour
I mark on charts my vision
my steps as :
1-After asian end i wait 1 hour to determine HOD and LOD
2-After that i open short when the price breakout LOD
3- I was mark that 3 days cycle was done

Please is my reading for charts correct or not ?

Hi Fahedksa, I'm not exactly sure where you took entry, but the best place IMHO was in the second pin on the M formation, as price moved into the next push down. It is right to mark the Asian High and Low, but I'm not sure about your comment 2. This isn't breakout trading. In fact the fox uses breakout traders to hit stops and load his position. This trade is what I call a continuation trade, rather than the usual reversal entry, when we'd be looking for price outside HOD/LOD to hit stops before reversal.
