Really tough markets for 10.x the last 2 weeks - my account has been steadily declining ouch! Still up for the month so not too perturbed just yet. Hopefully we can catch on to a few good setups soon. |

Yeah I took at look at your fxbook and saw that. I noticed it myself as well. It's too bad, since 2 weeks ago is exactly the time I first started demo'ing 10.x I guess in one way it helps me to really teach me to be picky with trades. On the other hand it's a little bit demotivating to use 10.x like this. |

just wondering, do you guys BE your trade or simply let it ride? Agreed that this is a tough time for 10.x, and thats exactly why most EA fails. i don't think there is a EA at this point that is capable of detecting trending and ranging markets and adjust the trading strategy accordingly |

Agreed, these ranging markets are tough; my account has been on a downhill slide also. But sooner or later they will end and we have the tools to take advantage of that (thank you Jemook). |

Don't forget I'm still getting used to trading this system  I've only been trading it for just over a month now. I've actually been looking forward to getting into a bit of DD because no system goes up in a straight line and I need a string of losses to see where the faults may life.J |

Great point, if some good information comes out of these market conditions that could be applied to the rule set the system would only be that much more effective. |

It might be good during this time to look at 10.3 is a daily trading patten that Bob created for ranging markets. But I believe he mentioned that if a pair is ranging go find some other pair to play Back then when I was still learning and the market was ranging I remember I used mptm with be at 10,2 and jumping 30. Though I get some stop outs. Those that ran really ran. It worked and added to my profits in those tough times. Even now thoughi don't trade this system. I do be my riskier trades Note: be = break even |

Another strategy for times like this is to look at PA and buy/sell in the pins based upon price action. I have been picking up a few pilot positions as they will move sooner or later. This is off topic so please delete if it's too far off topic. |

10.5 is CSS, RSI and weekly/daily pivots 10.4 is AO, RSI and weekly pivots 10.3 is TMA and daily pivots 10.2 is TMA and weekly pivots For me i just like to keep options open, if its a strong trending situation, 10.x wins hands down, no brainer. for ranging, well whatever suits your cup of tea |
